After proclaiming this to be the best green chile cheeseburger in New Mexico and one of the best burgers I've ever had, after looking forward to returning for 5 weeks, somehow my 2nd experience was awful.
This time the burger was served in an aluminum container with no top bun, hardly a trace of green chile, and nasty fast-food grade choped tomato and rabbit-food lettuce I didn't ask for.
And the fries were soggy and swimming in liquid, like a lot of it, more than just condensation.
Real weird.
The whole meal really sucked. The meat was still good quality and I ate most of it with a fork, throwing the fries, soggy bottom bun and 'toppings' away.
Check out the pics - it doesn't look like this came from the same place as my 1st burger here.
