This agency is a rip off! My 80 year old mom went in person to get liabilty. She got home and found…read morea better insurance rate with Progressive and immediately called to cancel, the operator told her she would have to go in person the next day to cancel. She goes the next day has a letter written to cancel effective immediately. She paid $224 for the policy with her debit card and was told by the agency that her refund would be sent to her bank account. That took place on Dec 2. On Dec 26 we returned to the agency and inquired where the refund was. They told me that their insurance company "Connect" would be the ones to issue the refund, they tried calling but that office was closed so the Freeway agent told us to call them tomorrow and gave me their phone #. She also told us that the refund would be $90 less than the original $224 because that $90 was their agent fee. I explained the policy was not even in effect for 24 hours and she said it didn't matter. Again telling me to call "Connect" their headquarters. I called the next day and spoke to a man who told me that they had not issued a refund as of yet. When I asked why, I was told that everything takes time. In addition to that he said that a check would be mailed to my mother but when I asked why not refunded back to the debit card I was told they couldn't do that?! So they can charge but not refund. How does that make any sense. Then he proceeds to tell me that the refund is going to be $54!!!!!!!! Out of $224 with 1 day prorated in addition to their "own" agent fee of $80!!!!! It's absolutely ridiculous that one company portrays as Freeway charging their $90 agent fee, then their headquarters portray as Connect Insurance and charge an additional agent fee of $80. My mother tried canceling this policy an hour after it was issued and NO ONE told her she would be paying agent fees. She was told she would be refunded $224 minus 1 day of insurance (which she was willing to pay) even though it was only for 1 hour. In the end, my mom is still waiting for a check to arrive via snail mail for a 75% loss. Warning for all ****GO WITH A MORE REPUTABLE insurance company!

My review is real and truthful. I had been with rose for years i believe dating back to 2012. I was…read morereferred by my mother. I tried someone else once and then went back to rose. however, that was a mistake. Rose had filed my husbands and my taxes our very first year being married, in fact our first tax filing as a married couple was done by her. recently I ran into some issues because she advised my mother that because I was staying with her due to hardship that my mother could claim one of my children which les to me being bullied into having to allow that to me a roof over my head. I recently because of this my parents filed with my child without permission and while I tried to tell rose the situation she was rude and disrespectful telling me things like "I don't care about your drama don't involve me" she wouldn't let me talk and would talk over me. I was told by a loved one who cares about my situation to ask rose if there was another way around this mess and when I presented what I heard to rose she said I was "questioning her". Rose was also giving me incorrect dates and telling me to look for 2024 yelling at me and then back tacked and realized she needed proof for 2025. she also said she didn't know I was married all these years after advising me for years to file married golfing separate and she doesn't "recall" that either. I am in a huge mess because of her careless advisement for years. she also complained about having to keep her word on my rate since I have been returning for years and is just unpleasant to deal with and she called me a Narcissist. She left me in a mess that she made all these years and then her answer was "I'm refusing to do yours and your husbands taxes" I wouldn't trust her since she couldn't even remember enough that I was married but worst of all I think she does she just wanted someone else to blame.

We visited their office and we knew we found the right agency as soon as Mary greeted us. We were introduced to the owners and staff and they took the time to ask us about our needs. As new residents, we had many questions about our new surroundings and Magdalen & Robert (owners) & Mary went out of their way to welcome us to San Antonio and also offer input & referrals (schools, doctors, employers, etc) for many of our newbie questions. Their rates are very competitive and they answered all the questions we had on their policies. They also followed up a few days later to inquire if we had any additional questions. I highly recommend this agency to anyone that is looking for competitive rates and wants to be in good hands. Jose & Lorena Ramirez

Even though my phone was not on speaker, someone seated near me could her Diane actually yelling at me and could also hear the ugly tone in her voice. There is no excuse to treat any one like that, ever! As a customer representative, she is the face and voice of the company, and is therefore held to a higher standard to treat every customer with the same level of respect and courtesy. I reminded her that I am a customer and asked if she cared if I return next year. Her response was to yell at me multiple times: "I don't care!" My experience with H&R block advisors at High Points is that they treat their customers poorly, and by their own admittance don't care if customers return. I won't be filing with H&R again.
