Went in today to the Oakley Kroger in Cincinnati for a rapid ANTI-Body test. Turned into a full medical information exam. Nurse Practitioner asking for information as if I was going into surgery or visiting a new doctor. When he asked to take my blood pressure (Im on BP medication), I said I prefer not to, he then said " we can't move forward without it". Again, this is a rapid COVID Antigen test, not a physical, Im not sick looking for medication. When I said no, and walked out, he asked me to come back, I did. Told him, "anyone can refuse service, and he needs to respect that". He then asked, "don't you want to at least know your result". Told him "I took a picture of my result while waiting for you" Bye. Holding a COVID ANTI-Body result hostage for medical information and medial exams feels fishy. And the LC, your probable response saying we need all the information to make good decisions, means you need all the "information".

They do not keep appt. Times. if I wanted to be treated this way, I would've went to my own physician. It is ridiculous.

The Nurse Practitioner was absolutely rude. If I talked to a customer the she talked to us I would be fired.

I did receive good care here in the past. At this visit for a flu shot the provider was rude and did not treat us well. We will not be back.

I'd seen The Little Clinic locations in every Kroger for some time, but until today, I'd never been…read moreto one... Then just recently, I felt I was starting to get an ear infection, and I knew one was near my work. Seriously, literally right across the street! So I decided to go for help with my predicament. Making an appointment was very easy on their web site so I made mine there. When I got there, 20 minutes before my appointment, I only waited 10 minutes to be seen. I filled out a brief questionnaire, and though I don't have insurance, I only paid $89 to be seen. The staff were all very friendly and helped my out greatly. Luckily, they deduced that I did NOT have an ear infection, just excess fluid in my ear from just getting over a bad cold. They even printed out lots of info and advice for me to take with me which I liked. Let's face it, no one likes going to see the doctor, but this experience was pretty painless overall. I could see going here again in the future... But hopefully not too soon, if you know what I mean.

Poor customer service only highlights questionable medical services. First off, this is my…read moreexperience and your experience may be different. For your sake, I hope so. Ever show up to an appointment 10 minutes early and get a lecture about being late? That's how my experience began. Then, after collecting my information I am told they won't see me because my secondary insurance is Caresourse and I have to pay out of pocket. Okay, how much? Doesn't matter, we only take payment, no insurance for what I needed. Again, how much? We won't see you. You mean you refuse to see me? Isn't that against the law? We're private, we don't have to follow the rules. Hmmm. Can I talk to the practice manager? Sure. Person, looking very sloppy for a medical professional comes out and continues with the company line. Never seen a business that won't take money. Anyway, ask for practice manager's name, crickets. Ask for name and number of overall manager, given no name but general number. Ask for name again, get name, maybe - when I called they never heard of person- then get called asshole behind my back. I guess there's a reason corporate never heard of this person. Maybe they don't exist. Not sure I'd trust these folks to apply a bandaid if this is their idea of quality patent care.

This is a teaching hospital. That is something that you should be aware of and look up. The staff…read moreare spread pretty thin. Some of the nurses are burnt out. The phone system is difficult. The social workers are spread very thin and not the best... There are staff that care trying to help. This hospital offers specially medical care that may not be available at other hospitals. My comments here are my personal opinion based on family member visits to this location. Be aware that hospitals are for profit. If you have good insurance they take note of that. The doctors will help if you can get a hold of one... You must visit you relative often and discuss care with the staff. You must discuss discharge paperwork in advance or it will not get done... The food on the floors for patients is just ok... Cafeteria food is a little better. Bring food for your relative if not on a special diet... The more you get involved the better the outcome here...

Grandmother went into the ER for a stroke. She got one single meal from the hospital over a stay of…read more5 days. We sat on the line for food for 45 minutes to no response, just to get told they changed the meal plan that day and nothing could be done. Even after that day she received no food from the hospital, we had to bring in food every time (just to get questioned). She passed her swallow test a half dozen times and still wasn't allowed solid food except for the first day when they gave her a full breakfast. Asked important questions many times (like if we can sit her up and feed her) to be told "we'll be back in a bit" and the nurse never came back. Multiple times my grandma herself, still recovering from a stroke, had to tell the nurses what the doctors said, which would clearly tell you nobody has any idea what's going on at this hospital. They botched her spinal tap and left her in agonizing pain for hours overnight and we had to call the nurses more than once to ask for painkillers. We got almost no updates about any step of her care and I had to ask her multiple times for basic information that should be provided to a family. A nurse also gave her a shot in the wrong place (her arm instead of her stomach) which left the specialist team appalled, and her arm almost unusable. On the last day, the nurse giving her a stroke exam literally threw her limbs around, violently tugging on the arm that she said was in pain repeatedly. At the same time she was nearly yelling at my grandmother to relax her arms which she was unable to do. This went on for 15 minutes. This is all not even mentioning the many times we were lied to or given otherwise incorrect information. If someone goes here and are not completely lucid and able to advocate for themselves firmly, the medical team will do what they want and leave them in pain without any assistance for hours. The nurses are usually pretty nice, but so understaffed that they repeatedly forget or omit basic care and comfort. As mentioned, we were told multiple times we'd get updates on what we can and cannot do, just for the nurses to not return. The only real compassion came from medical students. Lastly, visiting in the ER is hit or miss. Sometimes you'll be let back in 5 minutes if you have already entered, other times you'll wait upwards of 2 hours. Third day I was let in in under 10 minutes. I went out for coffee after a half hour and had my visitor badge still on. I went to get let back in and had to wait 2 hours just to "confirm with the nurse". All of that is not to mention the abusive and inhumane treatment of people begging for help in the ER lobby I saw. A man doubled over in pain sitting in a chair, unable to talk, had to be noticed by the police manning the metal detector and put in a wheelchair by them instead of the actual medical personnel. As expected, as soon as they got him over to help the nurse began interrogating him for his name rather than assessing his condition while he was nearly falling out of the chair and only able to grunt, while grasping his stomach tightly and struggling to breathe normally. All of this is specific to the ER, so you must keep that in mind. In all honesty if you have a serious medical emergency, you'd probably be better off staying home and booking an appointment for your regular doctor than going to UC health's "emergency" room.
