I took my daughter for her first hair cut here and it was excellent. However, the fewer stars is because of the experience during follow up appointments. Since the first time, we have gone back twice and both times the haircut was a disaster. The original hairdresser was not available at this salon anymore so we went with other ones and both times the cut was messed up. We had shown pictures, discussed the specifics like length and yet it was completely different. I am wary of going back here. read more

My daughter had her first haircut here today and it was wonderful! The space is beautiful and relaxing, and from the first moment to the last the staff made her feel comfortable and excited. She got to choose her chair, and they had her favorite show (Bluey) playing. Her stylist, Tiffany, did a wonderful job, and handled her very curly hair with ease. A pretty braid and a lollipop at the end... I don't know how it could have gone any better. Loved our experience! read more

Carly made all the difference for our family today and yesterday when we came for a walk in spot for both of our children. As a very busy working mom, I really appreciate accommodations being made for me in considerations patience inflexibility were certainly made for us. The next day Kama we were able to get in to see my other child for an adorable haircut that she'd been requesting. Josie Did an incredible job of accommodating my daughter's requests as well as mine. We came in on both occasions at very busy times but you would never have known it based on the service and attention that was given to us. We have previously been patrons of another child's salon but our service is moving forward will be faithful in our patronage to this precious little establishment. read more

Took my son to The Little Blue Jay for his first haircut (at 16 months) and they did an amazing job! The salon is adorable and caters to the kiddos beautifully. Carleigh was so patient and sweet with my son. She took her time asking me questions as she went to ensure she was cutting his hair the way I wanted her to. This is the sweetest place to get your little one's hair cut! Our son had gone nearly 9 months without a haircut because of COVID and his curls were getting a bit out of control. I really wanted a haircut that would preserve the cuteness of the curls but get his hair out of his eyes. Kayley was able to do that perfectly! The drive from East Cobb was definitely worth it! I am visiting my parents from out of town and my one year old was desperately in need of a haircut so we took a chance on The Little Blue Jay. What an awesome experience from the moment we walked in! Kaley was so sweet and professional. She did a great job on my wiggly little man's hair and she never got flustered when he was fussy. Went here for my son's second ever haircut. His first haircut at another childrens salon in buckhead was an absolute disaster. He screamed the entire time and ended up with a jagged bowl cut. Not cute. We had the absolute sweetest stylist at Little Blue Jay who had the patience of a saint. My son refused to be set in the seat alone, so the stylist made it work by cutting his hair while he was sitting on my lap. She turned on his favorite show (CocoMelon) and quickly cut and shaped his mop into an adorable style. The salon itself is clean and open and has a playroom to incentivize further visits. Cuts are reasonable at around $20. Will forever come back here!! read more

This place was the absolute best. It was my 22 month olds first haircut and he wasn't overly thrilled to sit in the toy car chair. They were flexible and it was no big deal for him to sit in my lap on another chair. You could tell they run into that scenario often. Nell was able to give him an amazing haircut. I switched to having my sons hair cut here since COVID onset and I feel safe and comfortable. Have seen Nell 4 times now and always leave happy. She is great with my 3 year old son and always wears her mask correctly. They clean and sanitize well after each client. Never many people in there at one time. Highly reccomend! read more
