Im currently in town for a girls vacation with family & friends in India, CA. I wanted to check out a dispensary out here that takes out of state IDs. I went on Weedmaps to look for my closest ones & came across The Lighthouse. My friend & I went to go check it out. I was tripping out because my iPhone GPS was letting me know it was across the street from an obvious building that says The Lighthouse lol. There is parking to the side. There is no actual lot but a rocky road available for parking (They also have handicap parking available). The front of the dispensary has multiple signs stating "The Lighthouse". Its very beautiful! So many desert plants outside. Upon entrance, we were greeted by security. The front desk also greeted us & we gived her our IDs for check in. She let us know that someone would come out to get us. The lobby was very nice, clean & organized. There is also a restroom available in the lobby. The budtender came out to grab us. The budtender who came out was very friendly; his name is Luis. He asked us what we were looking for & we let him know. I am a huge fan of concentrates so thats what I was looking for. My friend loves disposables so that was her reason for shopping. They had so many great brands. Luis answered all our questions that we had. The inside of the dispensary is very organized as well. All concentrates were in one place, all carts/disposables in another, etc. It is all on display for you to see. I don't know if they had an actual menu to look at. I should have asked. In Vegas, Im use to shopping while looking at the menu instead of displays. But overall, it was a great experience. The cashier that helped me check out was very kind. Luis helped my friend with her check out. It seemed like everyone that was employed there has great customer service. Which is my number one thing. Especially because its Cannabis & people use it for medicinal reasons. & also because Cannabis is suppose to bring us together. I ended up getting a gram of concentrates & a chocolate bar. My friend got her two disposables. I think its crazy how the bags they put your goodies in are not child proof. The bags are so cute though! The prices weren't too bad. I mean if you want quality, your gonnah pay for quality. Thats just how I see it. Thank you The Lighthouse for your great customer service & for the variety of product selection. I was in Indio for my nieces birthday get away and ran out of weed. Went to this dispensary (thanks to yelp) and glad we did. The staff was nice and very informative. They knew what they was talkin bout. All we wanted was some good indoor and they have a great selection. The only thing I didn't like too much is the 30% tax. My niece got an eighth of Mojave Kush (33% THC level) and I think it was around $70, maybe even more cus of the tax. I forgot how much really because we got a good deal on it. She gotten that and another strain i forgot what it's called and I got baby jeeters blue zkittles. The budtender referred it to me. I wanted something in the high 30% THC levels.. and that was perfect. It was at 34%! It's baby joints dipped in oil and has keif all over it. Very potent! Each one last five mins and it comes with five. I was really happy with the purchase and the price because we gotten a great discount on all the stuff we got. Talks too fast, slamming stuff around and was so in a hurry despite the fact I was there for less than 2 mins and I was the only customer there, she said the product is 10mg, turns out it's a mix of 5 and 10mg, I figured that out on my way out and before getting into my car. I go back right away and I speak to Omari, he was at least more friendly and more knowledgeable and took a minute to explain the difference but couldn't help me exchange the products I bought. I usually never go into dispensaries. I went in and they don't really explain whats what. They'll confuse the heck out of you. It really makes it seen like they don't know either, and they'll sell you things that they only know and not what you went in for. Then they'll blame you for their mistake. It's like if they hired anyone off the street without training or basic human communication. They'll try to sell you the most expensive thing, and lead you away from what you originally went in for. I could imagine what they do to the older and more helpless customers. I don't recommend this place at all, even if it's the closes place. I've been here 3 times for my medicine. I don't use recreationally and am always apprehensive that budtenders won't know their stuff and misguide me. I'm happy to say these guys know their stuff. Eddie took care of me today and was especially helpful and patient. He didn't try to up-sale me and actually steered me to less expensive options.
