I met with Karen, the director, after a girlfriend of mine recommended them. We walked throughout the entire school, not just the infant room- which is what we needed. The do in house field trips! They go all the way up to kindergarten, and while touring, I could tell all the staff and kids were happy. This is important to me, as I want the best for my child. They have a chef! They introduce nutritional meals and plant a seed of understanding food groups at a young age, to instill healthy food choices as they grow. I LOVE THIS! I was talking to a neighbor mom who couldn't understand why they would have a chef, and to ME, it's important. Because cooking, prepping, rationing out snacks and meals, is tough sometimes. I run a business and manage an office, and my husband works starting his days at 630 at a glass contracting facility, so we are BUSY! Knowing my daughter can get the proper attention and great food, makes me feel VERY confident that I'm providing her with the best school. They have monitors and video cameras, which helps me feel the kids are safe. There's monitors in the front lobby. Everything was clean, everything was labeled, and it felt like they're managed very well. From sign language, to educational groups, to the hands on staff- I just feel this is the best center in town. I literally cried in the parking lot! My only complaint is the price. It's nearly double what other daycares nearby offer! Their full-time rate is 500$. I understand they offer a LOT and it's the best of the best, but 3-400 range would be more appropriate in my opinion. Worth the tour! the kids will thrive! This is our dream daycare!

I certainly was extra stressed with the process of getting twins acclimated to the daycare environment at 15 months (they were at home with a nanny before this), but everyone from the the teachers and staff and director helped make the process work. They girls have their primary teacher, but are constantly interacting with different groups of kids and teachers and staff. This has been wonderful in getting them accustomed to new people outside of the school environment. They used to be very shy about meeting new people but its a comfortable process being in new places now. The school also helps me as a first time mom with many questions I'll have about different things the kids experience. An added bonus that extends beyond the school environemnt!

My son knows how to express himself using words, my son just turned 2 in june but he is so good at expressing himself. Caitlin's place is more than a daycare, my son is open to trying any food because caitlin dedicates giving the kids food. She feeds them the most healthy food you can think of. Caitlin is also amazing in communicating, i have another child who is older and he was in daycare when he was a kid and i can say for a fact that my older kid never got this level of care in other daycare he was enrolled in. Caitlin also does so much activities with the kids, from writing on walkways, painting, sitting outside and watching the trash truck, watching her chickens and learning from educational shows on TV. My child was not so friendly before he started, my child is so friendly and always ready to say hello or hi to everyone. Caitlin's place is not a sleep or play on your own daycare, she always has activities she does with this kids. They get nap time but they do a lot of educational activities. My son knows his alphabet, his numbers, colors and can identify certain things looking at pictures. My son is always happy and never fussy when dropping him off at daycare. Finally, Caitlin's place is amazingly clean. If you ever think of taking your little one to a daycare Caitlin's place should be an option, this is coming from a mother who is very protective of her kids.

The center is clean, the staff fun, and the Directors responsible and experienced. They hold everyone to high standards of care. Sadly, this is the complete opposite of our previous center. Though we have only interacted with some teachers (starting at 4 means we skipped a few classes!), all have been wonderful. My daughter is getting ready for Kindergarten, made fantastic friends, and regularly makes cards for her teachers (just because she adores them). I no longer stress about the care she is receiving, if she will be behind in school, or if the teachers are treated well (phew!). I will note the cost is higher and the hours more limited (close earlier) than our other center. Thankfully, we were able to manage both; totally worth it!

The communication, the staff, the love is beyond my expectations. Director Kim has been amazing in answering questions and Ms.Ally is my sons favorite teacher and has gone above and beyond! First, and most importantly, the teachers and staff are amazing. The communication with the management team was always timely and we appreciated the transparency that was always provided around any teacher changes within classrooms (this was super important to us coming into the school). Any questions that I emailed the administrative team (usually after hours) were generally at least acknowledged that night (either with an answer or letting me know a timeframe I could expect an answer). Our boys were happy with the teachers and staff they interacted with (and even now when we pass by the school while driving they ask if they can stop and say hello) and simply RAVED about Chef Dan's cooking. The classrooms are spacious, clean and organized and we felt confident sending our kids there even during the COVID pandemic because of their thorough cleaning protocols and safety measures. We loved the structured curriculum that included the philosophy of learning while playing. Music and math were essentially part of most lessons throughout the day! Phonics and reading development were worked into the curriculum as well (some other places we looked at included these programs but they were an additional cost). Cost is usually a factor when selecting a daycare and we were very happy that the rates at Primrose were competitive with other similarly situated centers. We truly saw the value in what we were paying and the care and educational support and experience the kids were receiving. In total, we were at the school for nearly 3 years and one or both of our kids were in toddlers, preschool, pre-K, the private kindergarten program as well as the (newly created during COVID) school-age remote learning programs and both kids attended full-time. We are thankful to be part of the Primrose School of Chelmsford family and have met teachers and friends that we are confident will be in our lives for some time going forward.

During our time, they have continued to exceeded every expectation we had. We started our journey with Primrose in April of 2021, when I was returning back to work after being remote from the pandemic. I was so impressed with their clean facility, communication with parents, and their curriculum. The teachers and staff have encouraged and supported my son in so many ways and we see his confidence soaring. It's so easy sending him in everyday because he loves to go to school. We know when he's there that he is safe, cared for, and having the best time. I really loved the communication and pictures through the app and whenever I needed anything, Anne and Heidi were always right there to help. We couldn't have asked for better experience!

The owners and staff are truly exceptional--warm, nurturing, and genuinely invested in every child. There's a genuine family feel at Family Tree, and we've formed lasting connections. As a school psychologist, I've been consistently impressed by the center's thoughtful curriculum and the way social-emotional learning is seamlessly woven into the day. The focus on school readiness--academically, socially, and emotionally--gave our kids such a strong foundation. They also loved the amazing crafts, engaging science projects, and hands-on learning experiences that sparked their curiosity and creativity. We're so grateful for the years we spent at Family Tree--they gave our children such a loving, enriching start. And we're not alone--every Family Tree family we've met has felt the same deep appreciation. If you're looking for a place to truly entrust with your child's care and early learning, I couldn't recommend Family Tree more highly.

Completely opposite experience with my son. Due to high staff turnover, my son was not able to receive the care and support that my daughter did. After a dozen evaluations recommended by leadership, my son was not diagnosed with any developmental deficiencies or behavioral problems and did not qualify for special needs or IEP programs. The frequency that I was contacted to complain about my son doing things that are age appropriate (bathroom accidents, sensory processing, not sitting still during circle time, etc) was astoundingly unnecessary, we chose to place him in a different childcare center as there is a pattern of toddler boys being terminated for similar and worse reasons.

As a new mom, I greatly appreciate the human connection that all of the caregivers provide. Every day I am greeted with a smile and asked about how my daughter's night was. Beyond that, the caregivers are always happy to give me advice and support after a long night or fussy morning. I am thoroughly satisfied with her infant care, and am even more excited for her to progress through the childcare program. The layout of the building allows me a glimpse into the other early childhood classrooms, and I am constantly amazed by the variety of activities and teaching methods that I see on a daily basis. I also love that the program is part of 2nd Nature Academy. While we certainly don't want to rush our daughter's early childhood experience, we look forward to her continued education for many years to come.

I was a nervous new mother so I thought I was being critical of the lack of warmth from caregivers and staff. Aside from Carol who greets you upon entry there was no comfort in leaving your child there. I questioned myself thinking I was protective and went along with it. Over time it didn't change. I came one day to pick my child up early to find a substitute teaching acting extremely inappropriate with the children scolding them In a way that felt like she was losing control. Other staff members appeared embarrassed when I witnessed it. When speaking with the director I was reassured she wouldn't work with the younger kids anymore because " it overwhelmed her " I quickly learn from that point on it wasn't the right place for my child. I think they paint a pretty picture of what they offer but within the walls of the preschool is quite different. Their expectations are extremely high for toddlers and pre k and sadly lack the nurturing piece. I found the staff to be young with a lot of turnover. I found the director Jillian to be young, naive and lacking real life experience to be in her role. Be careful of the pretty picture it presents. I am so sad that I didn't go with my gut on day one... a new mother novice decision. Luckily my child has no memory and I have found a place that is nurturing with experienced staff.
