My daughter has attended Tender Care Learning since October 2015 and it has honestly been one of the best decisions so far because she's learned so much and is already prepared for kindergarten. The preschool's well rounded social skills, personal responsibility, and academics are only a few of the excellent areas your child will develop when attending Tender Care Learning. You feel so grateful to have your child learn and grow at Tender Care Learning plus to know they are in good hands and safe. I know my daughter will always greet me with a big smile every time I pick her up and want to show me what she's learned during her day. Her teachers are always there to tell me about her daily activities and anything else. They are truly a professional team. From early in my pregnancy, we did a lot of reading about day cares, visited several, but we knew when we visited Duck Pond that was where our Jack would end up. We clicked instantly with Amy, the director, who strikes the perfect balance between down-to-earth and professional. She is caring, trustworthy, and always reasonable. So we chose Duck Pond for Jack when he was a mere 2 months old, and he just had his last day there (due to moving) 2 years later. Duck Pond's atmosphere feels like family, and we loved that if we wanted to talk to someone about Jack's needs (he had an anaphylactic egg allergy for a while) or if we had scheduling or billing questions, there was no corporate infrastructure to navigate. We loved that it was a family run center, that every staff member knew Jack by name and was excited to see him in the morning. It's important to note that teacher turnover is low, which was fabulous because Jack became very attached to them. All along, I have genuinely felt that Jack was loved and cared for. But this became even more apparent as he learned to walk, and would run excitedly in in the morning, and then when he learned to talk and was able to tell us how much he loves his Duck Pond friends and teachers. We'll miss Duck Pond but remain extremely grateful for the wonderful early care they gave our son and the peace of mind they gave his parents.

We love the emphasis on fresh, natural foods (all food is provided/included, which is SO convenient) and outdoor play. They also do a very cool "Summer camp" program where the kids have outdoor/water play all morning every day, and the preschool/pre-K kids have several field trips. My daughter attends the preschool program three full days a week with the before and after care program and the amount she has learned in these past months is incredible. The preschool teacher Jess is amazing and the main reason why we picked this program. The lessons and themes are constantly changing and the children are learning new things everyday. I am amazed to see the progress my daughter has made thus far. When I ask my three year old what she loves about Willow House she tells me the activity centers which are constantly changing based on the theme of the week.
