However, I regret to say that I cannot in good conscience recommend this school. In comparison to other Montessori schools, the quality here falls short. The school operates on a very limited budget for education, resulting in a lack of essential classroom resources and a deficiency in authentic Montessori materials in the toddler class, such as practical life, math, and language materials. Instead, teachers are advised to purchase cheap supplies from dollar stores. I had to request parents to provide practical life materials like fruit and vegetables for lessons. Unfortunately, when we ran out of materials and the children were eager to engage, I found myself apologizing, explaining that we lacked these resources due to no weekly budget in the class - such situations compromise the authenticity of the Montessori approach and create challenges in delivering quality education. Moreover, the cost-cutting measures extend to the parents, who are required to provide snacks, water, and even plastic bags for the whole class on a monthly basis. The school fails to provide basic supplies like plastic bags for diaper changes, forcing teachers to borrow from each other. The frequency of fundraising events and requests for parental contributions raises questions about the allocation of funds. When it comes to safety, the school placed a much older child who frequently hurt the younger children in the toddler class. We experienced instances such as a child pushing five children consecutively on the head. Two teachers in my class reported the issue to the head of school, who responded with "I can't deal with it now, I am busy" and often shrugged off similar events. This lack of concern for the safety and well-being of the children in the school is deeply troubling. Furthermore, the hiring practices are questionable, with individuals who are not capable of working in a childcare setting or a lead teacher who doesn't have any training background in Montessori education being brought on board. Additionally, the treatment of employees is disappointing. Upon tending my resignation, the company unjustly reduced my pay rate without informing me and prematurely terminated my contract, depriving me of entitled paid holidays. In summary, it is sad to witness how this company prioritizes PROFIT over the well-being of its students and employees. Prospective parents and educators should be aware of these facts before considering this establishment.

Nona, the principal, is the most amazing, hands on, warm and intelligent principal anyone would be lucky to have. She stands in the hallway and shakes hands with each student, every morning, and wishes them a good day. The teachers are amazing. I can't say how lucky and blessed we feel to have entered our child into such an establishment. He used to go to another, very nice, daycare, which I referred to as "supervised arts and crafts". Montessori is a way of thinking and learning that cannot be beat. I'll recommend this school again and again.

The health battle that we have been tackling with our son has been eased by Alphabet's support and again, clear love and care. They really impressed me with the way that they handled this insanely unprecedented year of covid with love and care. They were flexible and accommodating in a time that was very complicated. My youngest son has been attending Just Children since he was 18 months old. From day one, he was welcomed into a warm and nurturing environment. His lead teachers have been consistent. No turn overs like mentioned in other posts. To speak directly to the program, his day to day is a well-thought out mix of age appropriate activities, learning and free play. At 3 years old, he has already been taught his letters and numbers, and can read and write them, too! Throughout the day, I am provided text message video and photos, which makes me feel like I am still a part of what is going on! I love seeing his activities each day! There are a variety of enhancements my child receives at Just Children, which he didn't get at other centers. Touchscreen computers, Spanish lessons, and offerings for sports or dance classes! The staff at Just Children is well educated, friendly and warm. They care about my son - really, they do, and keep me updated on his progress. The other review I read mentioned something about a problem with communication at Just Children. As a parent of a child currently in the program, I couldn't disagree more. The director of the school has an OPEN office at the reception area. She greets the parents as they come in, and knows each child by name. The lead teachers in the room keep me informed about my child's day to day progress, and each evening I receive a communication from the teacher with notes, food, etc. They will even remind me of upcoming events, or if there was an issue my child had that day (this is never a surprise -- I'm always aware prior to the email). In my honest opinion, I wouldn't think to put my child in any other daycare center in the area. They say that actions speak louder than words...so I will also say that Just Children is so amazing that I have THREE neighbors who also send their children there. In fact, they are the ones who referred me to the center. Their children have all been attending since they were infants -- and most are now 4! Thank you, Just Children, for taking such amazing care of my child! You make a working mom feel so comfortable leaving their baby each day.

During our initial tour of the facility we were upfront with Director Lisa about our child's issues and she assured us they would be willing to work with us and our child. She was very patient with us in answering all of our questions and introduced us to the teacher who would likely be our child's teacher. They even invited us back a second time so that our child could check out the classroom (something no other facility we saw did). Only once our child was enrolled did we see what a night and day difference Just Children was from our previous day care facility. Our child began thriving almost immediately in her new classroom. Our child's teacher, Ms. Nicole, seemed to know just exactly how to approach our child. In a short period of time we saw a significant improvement in her letter and number recognition as well as writing ability. Her behavior in and out of the classroom improved as well. The activities, field trips and special guests that Ms. Nicole planned kept our child engaged and excited. Although we entered the school year late Just Children really did a great job letting our family feel like a welcome part of their community. Their communication system (Tadpoles) is fantastic and allowed us to stay informed of our child's daily activities and see what fun activities they were up to that day. We were so impressed with the staff and curriculum at Just Children we also moved our other child in as soon as space was available. Cannot recommend these guys enough.

My husband and I agreed that it is about time as he needs to learn to socialize as well. We searched and looked for the right school or a care provider and eventually found Lightbridge Academy at Delran, NJ. They eased all our worries, answered all our questions, excellent staff, even great walkthrough! Everything was on point. They also have cameras where you can check in on your little one whenever you wish. In such a short time, our son showed amazing progress. This is coming from a boy who is exclusively BF and only sleeps with mommy, rarely with daddy and is very dependent on being latched. Like any kid, in the beginning, he showed attachment issues and cries at drop off. The teachers and the staff are so on point that they make sure to find ways to divert his attention and engaged with him. He took a very little time to adjust, and before we knew it, he loved spending every single day with his classmates, teacher, and learning the activities. He would come home a happy kid, and when we do our own activities at home, he continues to surprise us. In fact, one day, he came home and just started showing hand movements to certain songs that he loves to interact to! This is all thanks to the excellent curriculum, patience of the teachers & staff, and how well they manage the facility. Recently we had to move out, and Lightbridge Academy at Delran, NJ had us so spoiled that we were hoping to find the same care that they provided us. To date, we are still looking. Believe it or not, my husband and I can't stop wishing that there's a Lightbridge Academy here out west. Nothing can compare. I promise you when I say this, and it is NOT an exaggeration at all ... it is not easy to find a school or daycare that will provide the love, care, AND ALSO include your child's learning as part of their priority. Some will simply be a place for your kids to stay at like a playground, which is what we realized the hard way. With Lightbridge Academy at Delran, NJ, you get to have it all and more!
