I was told there was availability and that I should come by and tour the school and pick up an application. Sweet! Oh until I mentioned that my daughter was in a wheelchair. ::record screeeeeech:: Then I was told there was actually a small wait list....it must have slipped the front office administrator's mind...but hey it happens. So we get on the wait list and call to check in from time to time only to be told "there's just one more child ahead of her" time and time again. After several months we talk directly with the owner and straight up ask her if there's an issue with my child being admitted because she's in a wheelchair. She assured us this was absolutely not the case and our child would be the very next one admitted once an opening became available. So TWO YEARS (because apparently this is the Harvard of after school care) go by and within that time we managed to find another place for her until that spot opens up. We actually let it go for a while since we found a nice program that had no issue with meeting her needs, and ultimately that's what we were looking for, but kept her on the list just in case. However today we randomly saw the owner again and asked her about it. She ACTUALLY said no child has been admitted in the LAST TWO YEARS. Like those words actually came out of her mouth. I don't know about you, but that sounds awfully suspicious. I'm bringing this up now in the hopes that they will take a look at themselves and ask what they are getting out of denying kids with disabilities. That and so they can thoroughly brush up on the rules and regulations of the ADA Act. It's more than just a babysitter (which is what a lot of places tend to resort infant care to), they are so attentive and caring. My child lights up when she sees her teachers. From day one, all of the staff have helped me to feel great about leaving our little one there. The app that provides updates throughout the day is helpful. We can see that she's actually learning things. Overall great, safe, clean environment that I would highly recommend. Update: we now have two littles at Tutor Time and we love it twice as much. Both of little ones are doing great in their positive environment. They have onsite extra curricular activities. We've tried Play Ball (various sport activities) but will be trying dance this school year. The communication between the staff is top notch. I cannot say enough about how awesome Tutor Time is for my girls.

My child has been at this location for almost 2 years now and I couldn't be happier! The staff is amazing! The curriculum is teaching my child more than I ever expected in a early preschool setting (in the fall, my child will be in PVK). It's nice to see the same staff (teachers) over and over again meaning the turnover rate is limited. There is a great outdoor playground for all children to enjoy. The only issue I have is the location. It is 5 or 6 car-lengths from a stop light with a left turn median. This all boils down to a nightmare to get in and/or out of the parking lot on a regular basis. However, I'm not gonna fault La Petite for this issue. Ask me anytime anywhere and I'll say this location is great!

The teachers and directors did not inform me of any incidents, nor did they ever write any incident reports. I spoke with both directors Ashley Estep and Jenna Davis several times about my safety concerns; they both did nothing to make a safer environment for my child. We observed several times on the camera's kids horse playing roughly without supervision. The classrooms are over packed with only one teacher most of the day which might be causing the lack of supervision. I withdrew my child after the last unreported incident that left a severe scratch on his face. I am extremely disappointed with the care that my child received while attending LePetite Academy St Johns Bluff. This childcare center lacks efforts to keep children safe. These teachers and directors are obviously not monitoring the kids properly.
