Owner walks in, mid conversation and was clearly angry and says "nothing happened, no no, nothing happened" so I said no I didn't think you're understanding, I'm NOT accusing anyone of anything just wanted him watched bc SOMETHING clearly scared him(day prior) " no I've been in daycare 15 years, I have cameras all over, nothing happened" " you can take him home"..... Wait, what??? So AGAIN I said I don't think you're understanding. He was just so angry he didn't even hear me, anyway I got in my car, nearly in tears, got home, 15 min later went to pull him out. Before sending my son to daycare I had so many fears being that I keep up with the news from around the world and the horror stories I hear that goes on at some daycares made me petrified. But being a full time working mom I had no choice but so send my defensive child into the care of people I really didn't know. But after sending my son here for a while, he started to smile immensely when we pull up to all superstars because he knows where we are! That's how I know my sons is safe here! One thing that really made me trust this place with my whole heart is when I went to pick up my son the other day and the teachers had the kids outside and when one of the workers went and picked up my son to hand him to me he just looked into her eyes with the biggest smile on his face and just rested his head on her shoulder. I saw that he felt safe. And that meant the world to me. The teachers and staff are compassionate, hardworking and so invested in our childrens well being & growth. One of our favorite things is the various fruit trees that surround the campus and fill the playgrounds. BIG mistake, my son was abused by older children and then the blame was placed on him. After informing them that I was going to be removing my child, they let another older child beat him and then suspended my child. If that wasn;t enough, they went as far as to bad mouth him to other child care providers and write the final report that he was thrown out because of violent behavior. The amazing part is how they lie to protect themselves. Too bad for them as I have lawyered up against this child care and hope they get closed. My husband and I popped in to take a tour and get some info for when our three month old daughter will be needing daycare. We could not run out of this place fast enough. We walk in and the very First Lady we see seemed confused when we said we wanted info and to take a tour. She then motioned us through an open door to follow her and said "this door should be closed but I'm the only one here so it isn't." STRIKE ONE. Breaking rules and being alone? Doesn't look good. So we go through this door to the infant room. She walks us in and says "this is it. We shouldn't have shoes on in here but it doesn't matter much you know." STRIKE TWO. Yes, it does. Little ones crawl on this floor. STRIKE THREE was we saw one poor woman in this room with six children all under a year, two of them were screaming crying the others were strapped into seats or walkers. STRIKE FOUR was when the woman giving us what she called a tour said "the teacher tries to do art sometimes but you know...they don't do much" which I took as... they're babies. Why do art because they just lie around. Seriously? We had heard enough. No wonder there isn't a waiting list to get into this place. Thankfully we had visited another daycare about an hour before that and it was COMPLETELY different and opposite from this terrible experience.
