For the past year, I've been a little bit obsessed with microblading (aka eyebrow embroidery or 3D brows) and it was my favorite topic to research. Late at night I'd be watching YouTube videos on what the semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo experience would be like. I'd insta-stalk permanent make up artists on Instagram, weeding out who the bad artists were and those who were good at their craft. The idea of getting something tattooed onto your face was kind of daunting. The thought of "What if someone jacks up my face and it looks like my eyebrows were draw in with a sharpie marker" held me off on my quest of eyebrow nirvana for a long time. If I was going to do it and spend the considerable money on the procedure, well I'd make sure I went to the right person no matter where they were. Then I began to research artists within a short plane ride or drive. Basically East Coast down to Miami and came up with two places. One in Orlando and the other in Tampa. Both cost around $600-700 each for the procedure and both (thankfully) were booked 6+ months out. Then one day I came across The Lash Room's Instagram account and lo and behold there were recent pictures of customers and their micro-bladed brows. I was aware of the Lash Room for their lashes, but had no clue until then that they had been offering microblading for almost a year. The funny thing is that the salon is only 5 min from my house. Here I was ready to buy an airplane ticket to New York or drive down to Miami when they were right here in my back yard! After vetting Lash Room's social media accounts and visually confirming that they knew what they were doing and that their customer feedback was positive, I finally bit the bullet and made an appointment and was able to get in 3 weeks later on a Saturday afternoon. Cost will be around $300-400 depending on how much work needs to be done. The part I really liked is that the price includes a touch up session after your brows have initially healed. The touch up is crucial and I am so glad that the Lash Room cares enough about their results to make sure this is included. Even the "famous" microbladers who charge $1,000-$2,000 for their work may not include this service. It's important because when your brows heal, there may be areas that don't hold the pigmentation as well or areas that need to be fine tuned with a few extra strokes or color adjusted. Yada, the owner of Lash Room did a wonderful job. I appreciated the fact that she spent a lot of time with me before the tattooing to discuss what I wanted my brows to look like and mapping what the shape would be on my face. Make sure to bring in photos, there's different stroke techniques and it helps to know what look (natural or bold) you're looking for. I just finished up my touch up session and am so happy with the results. I no longer have to draw in my brows, which saves me time and the tattooed hair strokes look more natural than makeup. I'll get compliments that my eyebrows look great and people can't believe it's a tattoo. I love my new eyebrows and would highly recommend Lash Room. read more

Appointments are made by text. Nice location located in Pinellas Park. One big, nicely decorated room with 3 massage tables for service. I looked everywhere in a 15 mile radius and this place was the cheapest with the best review. I had my lashes done here for my baby shower and when it was all done I looked like Bambi. (That's a good thing - Bambi's gorgeous!) They state the lashes will last up 2-3 weeks. My last one fell off over a month and a half later. For the price, I'd say it was money well spent. read more

ZERO stars for brow microblading!! The only reason I gave 1 star is because I couldn't post this review without choosing a star. I hesitated writing this review because I don't like affecting someone's livelihood. But I feel I owe it to other clients to be informed. I went to Yada for brow microblading. I will admit I didn't really have a vision of what I wanted; I just blindly trusted her expertise. My brows turned out WAY too dark and WAY too bold. They look as though they've been "sharpied" onto my face. There are NO NATURAL HAIR STROKES. It's just solid black pigment and they are very square & solid in the middle. I reached out to her several times to express my disappointment and she basically said there was nothing she could do. Of course I didn't go back for my touch up because I didn't want my brows to be any more horrible than they already looked. The most frustrating part of it is that I model for a living & I actually LOST several bookings due to my brows. So, not only did I pay Yada to have my brows done but I also lost income due to her work. When I expressed this to her she did not offer to refund my money or even provide some other service for me to compensate for my losses, frustration & disappointment. Needless to say, I'm extremely let down, disappointed & frustrated by this situation. If you do decide to go to Yada for eye brow embroidery, you must go with pictures & a clear vision of your brow goals. It's best to opt for lighter pigment vs. dark because you can always go darker at the touch up. It's now been 4 months since my original appointment & my brows have not faded at all. They look like a permanent tattoo & I honestly don't know what to do. I may have to go to a laser facility to have the pigment removed which will be an enormous expense of finances & time. I feel the least Yada could do is offer to compensate me for the laser treatment. Obviously, I am EXTREMELY disappointed & feel the need to warn other clients. read more

Previously switched from another location and was well worth it! I would suggest texting the number listed to schedule an appointment instead of calling. They do get back to you faster this way. Either way they do contact you back and once your in you can schedule as many appointments in person after each visit. The last place I went to had 5 star reviews, but their work was not the best and caused irritation on my eyes. Yada took the lashes off and replaced them with better quality ones. They care about the health of your lashes and are very knowledgeable on different kinds to fit your needs. I would highly recommend coming here over any other location in the area. I had full set and 3D brow embroidery done. I had so many questions before the actual appointment and Yada was very kind in answering all my texts without being annoyed. She explained everything very kindly during the actual procedure too. The embroidery is supposed to be rather darker and very bold for first few days.. So I was worried about going out in public. I went to a dance class that night and only a few people noticed that they were not my real brow and it was only because I had ointment on. I have received so many compliments on my eyes. Getting an appointment here is a little difficult. There is one number to call, but no one answers, they only text you back. In order to make an appt, you have to text back and forth multiple times over the span of a few days which is kind of difficult and annoying. As far as the lashes go, the people putting them on are nice, but the job is poor quality compared to other places. For classic lashes, they use ones that are too thick for your lashes and end up hurting after a few days. They twist and turn and do not feel normal. I would have to brush my lashes multiple times a day to try to get them to stay in the right spot. Also, when you go for a fill, the tech should take the grown out ones off and scoot them closer to your eye lid or replace them with new ones and they did not do that here. The extensions were half way out on my lash and turning multiple ways. When I went and had them removed at another place she also said that one single extension was clumped to multiple of my real lashes and that they were put on very messily. They charge around $60 for a single fill, so I would definitely find another place to get your eyelashes done. My eye were itchy and hurt the entire time I went here but never did previously or after I got them taken off and replaced from another place. read more

Great lashes! My only complaint is the set up. One large room with prep tables everywhere.....people are walking in and out and all around while you lay there with your eyes closed. Quite a vulnerable feeling. Curtains would be economical and make a world of difference. :) read more
