Many from the Doctor's office which will obviously be closed on the weekend. While the school staff also being impossible to get a hold of on the weekend. Making it impossible to attend, or even talk to the school about the problem. And keep in mind, I wasn't some last minute student. I started the paperwork in August! So they had plenty of time to let me know of these essential requirements prior to now. Absolute nightmare experience. I would never consider dealing with SMCC again!

My husband is a burly lumberjack and wasn't exactly pumped about our new hobby, but she was so easy to work with. She made us feel totally comfortable, started with the basics and taught us as much as we were comfortable with in the time we had. She didn't push us to perform at a certain level and reminded us that this was about having fun! The three of us laughed as much as we danced! We sent Merissa our wedding song ahead of our first lesson. She picked out a style of dance that she thought would go well to the beat and that's what we learned for 5 weeks. Once we got the basic steps down, she had actually choreographed some additional moves for us and by the end, we couldn't wait for the wedding, specifically the big dip at the end! Although we forgot a few steps on the big day, it didn't matter. We were so comfortable and knew the general moves and how to recover seamlessly. As we performed our dance, the entire room started to sing along as we moved through our dance! (Also, we nailed the dip.) She came off as extremely…read moreunprofessional---she had dogs barking for almost the entire duration of our consultation, was very abrupt and dismissive almost as if I was wasting her time (she kept saying right, yep, yep, yep, yep, after every word I spoke), and lacked the basic human empathy you would at least like to see feigned when speaking with a lawyer. I would not recommend her to anyone, and would suggest looking a lawyer professional enough to care about her potential clients, as well as respect them enough to not chat on the phone in her living room with her pets barking in the background.

It's very hard to describe, just saying how I feel. She helped me realize and accept the bad had happened and it was time to stand up for myself. She got this point across with incredible class and empathy. I started not to feel so little. Within weeks she pulled my case together and I started to feel like I was myself again. See, no matter how confident and experienced you are you can always be knocked down, but it matters who you have around you which determines how and even if you will stand back up. Sally didn't pull me along instead she explained things in a way that helped me get the fight back. She helped me feel worth standing up for myself. As you can imagine it is all very jarring if you have to seek out a labor attorney. Something bad must have had to have taken place right? So I say again, it matters who you have with you. Sally was, well, with me and she was with me the whole time. The value I place on her is so incredibly overwhelming larger than transactional. She is my friend for life. She became a mentor for me and to me. Not only did I receive justice but I grew even stronger ready for the next issue to solve. Really appreciate you Sally.
