I spoke with Danny initially about being my regular lawn guy to trim 2 Canary Palms and 2 Sago…read morePalms. He initially told me it would be around $$50 per Canary Palm and $25 for the 2 Sago Palms. I called him recently to come back out because he told me they'd only need to be trimmed every 6 months and he sent an invoice for $150 instead of $125. So I sent him the invoice from the last time and asked him to please advise she his invoice "welcomed" questions. his response, "Well, in all honesty, What doesn't cost more now? Since the last election: Gas Costs more Insurance Costs More Payroll Cost More Taxes Cost More Dump Fees Cost More Every aspect of doing business and living Costs More. and then let's tack on the 18% inflation rate. (that is the real rate of inflation). Maybe you should get a few more bids. I'd try: Gaston's Tree Service, Sky Frog Tree Service, West Farms, Lawn Enforcement, Oasis Landscape Company, Daughtry Tree Service, etc. Or you could go onto FB Market Place and search for a tree service. Make sure they have the required license and insurance. Good luck with all that, Danny Puckett P.S. After writing all this, I think I'll pass on the job. Some of the moving companies in town are SO expensive (I found them reasonable) or you don't get great help. Gray's Tree Service has great reviews for tree removal. However, we hired them to trim a couple of…read moretrees mainly and Oak and a Crepe Myrtle. They evidently don't know the meaning of "trim". Half of my full, beautiful Oak is gone and it now looks like a broccoli stalk. All of the Crepe Myrtle is gone with about four sticks left in the ground. I had to stop them from whacking down every bit of shade I get from trees in the back yard. I am sick when I look at my Oak tree and it will be years before it comes back. Watch carefully when they are "trimming."
