As I'd put on my previous review, the brooks been my local for a long time and over that time it's had 3 different Landlord/lady, and anyone who thinks the Landlord doesn't make a difference is sadly mistaken.

They brought in a new rule when they arrived that children had to stick to the wings of the pub, I'm not really fussed where kids are in the pub as long as their quiet but from speaking to other locals apparently some people didn't like the idea of kids being in there at all, so hidden away in the wings seemed a good compromise I guess.
The Brook does offer one important thing to Bramhall though, it's now (if geography serves me faithfully) the only Pub in Bramhall now, everywhere else having been turned into some form of Wine Bar, bar/restaurant combo. Which is sad to see read more
