While I normally just pass through, time and again I find myself just sitting quietly on one of the benches and spend some time pondering the meaning of life. Although to do this, it might be good to stay away from Coal - it tends to get noisy. Also, its a good place to walk around while letting dinner from one of the fantastic dining establishments settle in your stomach. The place has a stage, and every so often there are events - concerts and bands. It can get noisy sometimes. This is also where they hold the Greenfield Weekend Market, which deserves a review of its own.

I just wish they could bring back the public cinema with the big projector. Greenfield is now a place where you can find a lot of restaurants to dine in and it will wake you days to run out. They also have the Greenfield Weekend Market every Saturday that's like Mercato or Bancheto but with a wider selection from food to art to greeneries to music. They also have music festivals that you can attend for free or there's sometimes a fee. You can also chill and unwind at their park although I wish they could've planted more trees in there. They also have a vast array of establishments that you can try out like tea places, bars that open at night, dining places, convenience stores, and tiangges.

It's a 2-storey complex of studio apartments one tambling away from the bustling Maginhawa scene. Each studio apartment has its own kitchen counter, bathroom, and living/bedroom/dining space. Yes, there are slashes between those functions because the space is tiny - about 20 square meters. It's ideal for just 1-2 people in each apartment. You have your own electricity and water meter, on which bills are sent directly to your room. WiFi? You gotta have yours installed yourself. Pros: Bathrooms are bigger than expected; Security is good - CCTV cameras are placed around the gate and one along the hallway; Peaceful, quiet, and private; Tita Flory is a really nice woman; and, of course, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Cons: Relatively expensive, compared to other studio apartments in Krus na Ligas (KnL); Can't throw big dance parties. Unless being in a clown car version of an apartment is your thing. Lounging-lounging lang; She doesn't have a phone number. You have to wait patiently for Tita Flory to go downstairs after pressing the doorbell several times; Limited parking space. TL;DR - Consider living here if you want a small "tulugan lang" and temporary living space while you get your act together. It's decent and safe and comfy.

I really…read moreliked the vibe of the place that it gives off because unlike some condos that just feel like a plain apartment. The units here feel like you're actually living ala Will and Grace posh level. I also love their amenities because they have this really cozy study area that's just perfect for college students. If you're really not into the noisy cafes and would like to save bucks, then this is just the right place for you. Plus, you can plug your laptops there. The poolside is also nice because there's just enough space to swim around despite many people swimming there. Their gym is quite small although I think it's just enough for those who want to do a quick and simple workout because of their busy lifestyle. Most of all, I did enjoy playing billiards with my blockmates when we visited the place one time.

It blows, and it makes for a lot of frustrating searches. Thank the cosmos for reviews, where you could start with your apartment hunt at the comfort of your childhood bedroom. This is a review for the apartment building of 189 Maginhawa. You're welcome. PROS: Security? You are literally beside the Quezon City Police Department HQ. They also have security people, a lobby person, and CCTVs on the hallway; Rooms are great, with the building being newly constructed and all. Furnishings have this condo-type feel. I'm placing this in between pros and cons -- Location is great because it's in Maginhawa. Right downstairs or a few blocks away are establishments for a variety of your needs. But it's also not a good location if you're a commuter who goes out for work/school frequently. Tricycles and cabs are hard to come by. CONS: P10,000.00 a month for an 18-square-meter studio apartment, electricity, water, and cable/internet bills not included; I heard phone signal strength weakens inside the units; You climb three floors (or more) of stairs to get to your unit. TL;DR: Infrastructure - impressive. Location - depends if you have your own vehicle, but OK in general. Price - expensive for its size.

The building is off Lourdes but if you don't drive slow, I can see you missing the entrance to this place as there is construction around it. This twin tower building is next to the up coming Westin residence that is being built still. The Sonata building is a pretty secure residential place as there is a guard at the entrance to driveway, a guard before cars can go in. The guards are good at knowing the regulars here when you get dropped off by Grab cars. There is also guards over looking the front entrance to the building. If you have guests coming to visit you, they have to sign in and take your picture before they can call your condo. The staff is super nice and friendly. The place offers a gym, pool, kids play area and lounging area for guests with AC and TV. There is a boutique and salon at the bottom floor of tower 1. I really enjoyed it here so if you plan to purchase one of these condos, this is a perfect location to live in. We stayed here for a month as this was in Airbnb for a decent price. [17/100]

As their name suggests, the dorm is located in 2470 Dominga Street, just a stone's throw away from St. Scholastica, Benilde, and DLSU. The word "dormitory" may conjure images of substandard housing with shared bathrooms and dimly-lit rooms, but that's not at all the case for this one. In fact, what sets them apart is their hotel type accommodations. There are rooms for two, four, or more; as well as student lounges; and other common spaces. The best part is that their rates are quite friendly! For transients, last year's rate was Php 700/night for a room for two that comes with its own bathroom! This dormitory is open for both long-term occupants and transients. It's walking distance to the Vito Cruz LRT station, to the three schools earlier mentioned, and to various commercial establishments. Oh, and might I just add: It doesn't flood along Dominga Street, so this is a great place to live in!
