Gave him a rough idea of what I wanted but he seemed to be on point. Didn't actually see my hair until about halfway through-but it looked way better than I expected and immediately put me at ease. These guys really setup a relax attitude in their shop, so it was easy to just let the barbers do what they need. After all was said and done I was happy to tip Chris almost 100%. He was very professional, at no point did I feel any nicks or roughness, and came across like he's been doin this for decades. And the wife loved the cut! I wasn't asking for anything complicated. I wanted the exact same modern mullet I had done at Diesel Barber Shop for prom, which turned out amazing. I even showed Lowanda a picture of what I wanted. Instead, she completely ignored the reference photo and kept asking questions while she was already cutting my hair. Before I even realized what was happening, my sideburns were shaved completely off and the haircut ended up patchy, uneven, and nothing close to what I asked for. I trusted a professional with hair I've spent over a year growing out, only to walk out looking worse than if I had cut it myself in the mirror at home. There was no attention to detail, no effort to match the style I requested, and no communication before making major changes. This was supposed to be a simple haircut for the Fourth of July, and instead I'm stuck trying to figure out how to fix a haircut that shouldn't have happened in the first place. If you bring in a reference picture and ask for a style you've already had before, you should at least leave with something remotely similar. Very disappointed.

This barber seems to hate his job....all he said to me for the next 3 minutes was "next" and "did you leave any gel in the tube?" I said my hair was flairing due to my hair getting too long. I'm not sure how they evaluate candidates before hiring, but they need to improve their skills. As you can see in the photos, the lady who cut my son's hair today, whom I've never seen before, did a terrible job. I'm not writing this to prevent them from getting new business but so that people know that not everyone there knows how to cut hair and that I'd highly recommend Javier when you go and that hopefully the owner will make smarter decisions on who they let work in their shop.
