I had a great experience with the Happy Film Company taking photos of me and my puppy (together,…read moreand apart) and would certainly recommend them. I worked with both Chamonix and Victoria and they were each lovely and skilled. They were funny, calm and reassuring, and were able to suggest "tricks" to take better photos that I only hope I will remember in the future, cause damn, they worked! I wish I looked as pretty as their pictures imply. (ok, it isn't like they photoshopped or that it DOESNT look like me. Its more like it is simply the best photo of me taken in a while.) Finally, they provided me with a whole assortment of poses, and locations giving me a ton of options from which to pick my favorites. What I appreciated most is that their photos do not look like a "professional photo shoot". This is not to say that they are not amazing photos, but rather that the composition of the shots looks very natural and not too posed.

With 2 year old twins...my expectations were not high, on our part. :) Both Charmonix and Victoria were so good with the girls, getting them to do things and look at the camera. My oldest still talks about 'Charmonix and our pictures in Seattle'! She also is always requesting to watch 'the video that Charmonix put together for us'. :) Highly recommend getting the video package. Such a treasure! Love ALL the pictures and have them everywhere...desktop on my laptop, home screen on my phone, photo collage in the hall, large canvas in the entry... Thanks again, Charmonix! So happy with your work. See you in the future! :)

While running for office in my hometown, I was connected with Evolv by a friend of mine who had…read morebeen recommending their services for months. With just a few weeks to go before the election, I had thought it impossible to get a video done in time. Enter Ben and Paul. Within 24 hours of making contact, these two were willing to get together for a meeting to discuss our vision for the video. Being that I am not very creative, I was lucky that Evolv was willing to guide me through the best structure and content options for a video like this. We shot the video the next business day after that meeting. Paul and Kaden made the filming easy and I credit their professionalism for the video's success. They were patient, dedicated to quality, and made the process comfortable. 24 hours after filming, the videos were cut and sent to me for any comments/edits/suggestions. Their team responded within 2 hours of every request. I was able to get the videos up and running on social media the next day. I would have never guessed that that caliber of video could be created using just an hour of filming. While the speed of this production was absolutely-incredible, I'd assume it would be very difficult to scale, but I mention it because it demonstrates the passion that Ben and his team have for providing world-class service to their clients. The videos were a huge positive for our campaign. It absolutely blew me away. They perfectly captured our vision and priorities. The engagement with my page, the average duration of the video(s) watched, the unique user reactions to the video, and both its paid and organic reach were something that I would have never thought possible for a video of my dorky self. We were able to succeed in the election, and I'm confident that Evolv's videos were a substantial factor in our victory. Thank you to Ben, Paul, Brennan and the rest of the Evolv team for your amazing work.

We scheduled the photo start time for 2 PM, annd Alex showed up at 12:00PM to begin setting up. My makeup artist told me this is Alex style. Once he finished setting up the video equipment, he went to the site to start capturing the details--shots of my dress, my beautiful high heels, and jewelry. He was so detailed, trying to get different angles of the shots, which I really liked. I spent a lot of money on my dress and accessories, and I definitely wanted to capture them in my book. The ceremony was outside under the stage, and he guided us to the back area, which had more greenery, for our family and wedding party portraits. He was so funny and creative--everyone enjoyed his sense of humor. I believe he has a gift for making people feel comfortable and de-stressed. He even made my 85-year-old grandmother smile, which I hadn't seen in a long, long time. During the ceremony, he captured so many different shots, from wide angles to close-ups. He stayed close to us but kept enough distance so that the guests felt comfortable. I remember at my sister's wedding, her photographer stayed too close to everyone, and it felt awkward. We received over 2,000 proofs to select from and ended up choosing 250 instead of the 200 we planned. Thank you, Alex and your team, for capturing this wonderful lifetime memory for us. We really appreciate your hard work and sense of humor. Whenever I visit my grandma, she still remembers your name. You definitely have a gift and talent for bringing happiness to others. Irene K.
