We had a great experience with LAPMS throughout those years. The teachers supported him through important milestones, including potty training, and we could see how much he learned and grew over time. He learned math, participated in science projects, and was always excited to share what he was learning at school. Most importantly, he genuinely loved going to LAPMS every day. We're very thankful to the teachers and staff for giving him such a positive experience during these important early years. We have a lot of good memories from his time there and would definitely recommend Learn and Play Montessori to other families.

The front desk staff and both directors (previous and current) were also wonderful and took the time to get to know us as a family. They always greet us with kindness and patience for all those questions we had! Thank you LAPMS!!

We started our son in the preschool program and we instantly saw him blossom. Little Apples gave him a safe space to learn and grow, which has now led to such confidence and kindness in our child. Miss Sharon, Miss Wendy, Miss Ashley, and all of the staff here have been so wonderful to us and we can't thank them enough for the wonderful experience. When my husband and I first visited the school, we both saw it as our dream school for our son. As competitive as it is, we were lucky enough to have our son enrolled. Every interaction we've had with Little Apples has been nothing but positive. The staff is super responsive, attentive, and caring. Any time we had questions, they were so quick to respond. They are very committed to ensuring your child is in good hands and well taken care of. The facility is immaculate and they really promote a fun yet educational program that will get your child engaged. We will be forever grateful to Little Apples for helping our son grow into his own. I appreciated that I could email or call and ask for a short meeting to discuss any concerns I might have had. For example I was concerned about my son's transition to preschool given he was a "biter" but I was reassured by Ms. Sharon with how the staff would handle these types of situations. My daughter has continued with little apples and has been attending their afterschool enrichment program which includes homework help, learning Mandarin, science, STEM, and art. Fastfoward my daughter is now in 2nd grade and my son is in kindergarten, both attending the afterschool program and loving every moment. Our daughter started going to Miss Abha's day care since she was 11 months and it has been a wonderful experience. Miss Abha and Anil uncle are very caring and experienced in field of child care, learning and development. Our daughter even waves us a happy 'good bye' when we drop her. That is how good the kids are taken care of and how loved they feel here. Miss Abha has run a bigger pre-school previously for 18 years and there is plenty that one can learn from her in terms of good parenting/ disciplining/ development. We have seen constant progress in learning for our daughter and are very satisfied. Often times we are pleasantly surprised at what all she knows from the day care learning. Miss Abha and Anil uncle have also been very caring during times of sickness which can strike just about anytime for little kids and went above and beyond of what is expected. The home based day care has limited capacity and lots of personal attention to your child's development & learning in a loving and secure environment. Money is what drives them and if your child has any kind of special need, they'd rather protect their profit and throw your kid out. My child has ADHD, was strongly suspected but undiagnosed at the time they attended this particular branch. The school didn't know how to handle it... Rather than working with us to see how they could support our child better, they stalled us; delaying meetings for one reason or another for weeks. We hired a behaviorist and a therapist, all of whom were more than happy to collaborate with the staff there to help our child cope. They would have none of it, and instead of helping it severely delayed our child's learning of any coping mechanisms. They often singled our child out, made them feel like a "bad" kid, which made our child question their self-worth. The end result is that when they finally agreed to a meeting, they did it under the pretense that they were open to working with us and our child, but in reality they sandbagged us at the virtual meeting and threw our child out of their school. Certainly they have their policies which we respect but the WAY they threw us out, under the guise of being "helpful" was truly indecent of them. I would rather they had been straight with us, we could have saved ourselves the effort and gone to a better school. Ultimately we DID find a better place nearer to our home where they were empathetic and highly qualified to handle children with cognitive behavioral difficulties. So if you strongly suspect your child might also have these special needs, stay away from Montessori Learn and Play. There are other vastly more qualified preschools in the area though they seem to have a monopoly here in Fremont. But seriously, take your time and do some research. Coincidentally, later on we did encounter one of their previous leadership staff in another caretaker setting, who had been tasked with giving us the boot at Learn and Play. I hadn't recognized them until later, but they ended up being great with our kid, the same kid they had thrown out years prior. It made it crystal clear to me that the personnel isn't so much to blame as the corporate machinations that drive this chain of schools... It is most certainly highly toxic, misinformed and greedy to say the least. Do not trust your children with them especially if they have special needs. Save yourself the heartache and the money.

He was at that time shy, hard to communicate with, and was overall stubborn with wanting to do what he wanted and when. As a father that always wants the best for his kids and worries about how they may acclimate to new places and experiences, I worryingly counted down the days until we ultimately had to let him walk through the threshold into Level Up. The initial drop offs were rough on us and him as he got used to new places and teachers, and every week I wondered if it was truly the right choice for us. However, thanks to the absolute patience, empathy from the staff here, and stunning attention to what our son needs and how to communicate most effectively with him he started to absolutely blossom. A kid that couldn't finish the ABC's was somehow talking in full sentences by the end of the year, telling his feelings in reaction to what we were saying to him, and somehow became the line leader of his entire group. While yes, some of this may have come naturally to him over time both my wife and I agree that this school has put him well over the top of academic and social expectations. He has become acutely aware and sensitive of others people's wants and needs, is quite the public performer thanks to the schools seasonal performances, and thanks to the learning curriculum is quite aware of how to conserve energy and help the earth thrive. While still the stubborn little guy he is, he continues to excel and be nurtured by the staff who is THE reason why we are still at this location. Ms. Shushma, the manager of this facility has lead her team in a way that is nothing more than admirable. It is clear during drop offs and picking up that she knows the personalities and needs of every single one of her students and makes sure that they are accounted for. Her door is always opened for questions, concerns, and she has always reached out with thoughtful ways on how to best take care of our son in the most respectful manner. Over the last year and a half she become one of the most influential people in our sons development, and we could not thank her enough for her time and energy. If you are looking for a care center where your child needs attention, patience, and a really fun place to play (the happy home indoor play area two doors down is really cool) I would highly consider the Fremont location. After about 2-3 months at school and interacting with the children and teachers, his vocabulary has exploded. He talks all of the time now and surprising us with new words almost every day. When he started, the teachers assessed how much he knew already and looked at what they have to work on with him. They focused on phonics and getting him to use words more. They do have parent-teacher conference to go over his progress and what still needs to be worked on. He is still not the best at sharing but he is learning. He enjoys the songs and dances that he learns from school. He is slowly getting better at the worksheets needing less assistance than before. He loves his alphabets and numbers. He knows how to read a couple of words. Our son has been in the middle of his potty training journey, but it's been difficult for him to use unfamiliar bathrooms. The teachers remind the kids on using the bathroom. The school has part-time and full-time enrollment. The teachers are always so nice and patient with him and the other kids. The school has occasional events/programs throughout the year that we are invited to watch as the kids have fun and perform what they have learned. We are so happy with his progress thus far.

We've had our child at Learn and Play Maple Campus for over two years now and it honestly has been…read moreone of the best decisions we've made as parents. Our kiddo is in kindergarten and watching her grow, both academically and socially has been really something. Let's start with the curriculum because it genuinely surprised us. It goes well beyond the basics. Kids get exposure to STEM topics, Spanish and even yoga, and there's still plenty of time carved out for outdoor play every day. It doesn't feel rushed or overly structured. The balance is just right for this age group. The food situation is also worth mentioning because not every school gets this right. Maple has a no microwave, no fridge policy, which sounds strict at first but it actually encourages parents to send fresh, healthy food. The school also provides healthy snacks. And if you're a working parent who doesn't always have time to prep a lunch, Ms. Radhika launched a fresh hot lunch program. You enroll at the start of the month and your child gets a freshly made hot lunch each day. The price is very reasonable (around $5 per meal), and even though we haven't personally used the service, we think it's a fantastic option for busy families. Another thing Ms. Radhika introduced is a partnership with Amazing Athletes, a dedicated sports program that comes in once a week. The idea is to introduce kids to a variety of sports so they can figure out what they actually enjoy, rather than being pushed into one thing early. It's a great way to get them moving and curious about athletics. The program runs about $80 a month and is totally worth it. On the practical side, parking is never a headache here. There's a dedicated lot with plenty of space, so you're never circling the block or rushing to a street spot at drop-off. Our kiddo and her friends sometimes hang out in the parking area after pickup for a little impromptu snack party, which tells you something about how comfortable and unhurried the whole vibe is there. The campus itself is really well set up. The playground area is nicely shaded, surrounded by trees and has a solid fence so kids can run around freely without you worrying. With only six classrooms, this is a smaller campus compared to some of the bigger Learn and Play locations, and that's honestly a plus. The staff knows every child, the class sizes stay manageable, and your kid doesn't get lost in the shuffle. For staying connected, they use the BrightPath Connect app, which sends you updates throughout the day so you always know what's going on. As a working parent, that kind of visibility is really reassuring. And then there's Ms. Radhika. She has been the heartbeat of this campus. She knows every child personally, is always available when parents have questions or concerns, and has built something that genuinely feels like a community. The warmth starts with her and flows through the whole staff. I can go on and on. In summary, if you're a working parent looking for a school where your child will be challenged, cared for, and truly happy, Maple Campus is absolutely worth checking out. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

We have had a wonderful experience with Learn and Play Montessori (Maple campus), and choosing this…read moredaycare for our child has been among the most meaningful and impactful decisions we have made as parents. We have had the opportunity to interact with most of the teachers over time, and every single one of them has been extremely caring, soft, gentle, and patient with the kids -- while also being firm and consistent in teaching good habits, manners, structure, and discipline. That balance is incredibly important, and they do it beautifully. Our child started here at just 2 years old and almost instantly formed a strong bond with Miss Nasreen and Miss Yaimara, which made the transition so much easier for us as parents. As our child grew, Miss Ellah and Miss Ishita became the primary teachers in the following year, and our child bonded just as well with them -- we could clearly see their warmth, dedication, and positive influence. We are especially grateful to Radhika (Director), along with the wonderful teachers Miss Carmen and Miss Stephanie, who have all contributed meaningfully to our child's journey. The school does an excellent job of tracking progress and sharing regular feedback -- both positive and constructive. Even when kids are being a little mischievous (as all kids do!), the teachers handle it with so much patience, care, and professionalism, always turning it into a learning opportunity rather than a negative experience. Over time, we have seen significant development in our child -- socially, emotionally, academically, and in good manners and behavior. The progress from when we first enrolled to where our child is today has been incredibly reassuring and rewarding to witness. They have sufficient parking, and drop-off and pick-up are easy to handle. The entry and exit are well monitored, with a front desk assistant always present and strong CCTV coverage, which gives us great peace of mind around safety. Most importantly, our child is happy, confident, and excited to go to school every day, and comes home with new skills, stories, and a smile. As parents, that sense of trust and comfort is everything. We feel extremely fortunate to be part of this community and are deeply grateful to the entire team for the love, structure, and care they provide. Very highly recommended for any family looking for a safe, nurturing, and growth-focused environment for their child.
