LIFE CHANGING!!! In…read morean era plagued by the sedentary lifestyle that has been encouraged by the focus, necessity, and preoccupation with technology at home, in school, and at the workplace, it has become increasingly important to proactively search out physical and mental activity away from television, computers, and smart devices. At Henderson's Martial Arts they easily fulfill this need, but also offer SO MUCH MORE! At Henderson's Martial Arts you and yours will not only recieve high level Taekwondo and/or Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu instruction by their TOP NOTCH instructors (I've never seen such a highly qualified and experienced group before in my life), but you'll also benefit from their strong and supportive community of students, staff, and instructors who become more family than acquaintances! You'll learn your martial arts, for sure, but you'll also learn self-motivation, determination, discipline, respect, loyalty, confidence, teamwork, and how to overcome adversity! As a health and fitness professional, as well as a husband and father of martial artists, I wholeheartedly recommend Henderson's Martial Arts for those who want to learn LEGIT Taekwondo or Jiu-Jitsu, are looking for a place to find activities and exercise towards better health/fitness in a motivating and fun way, or are looking for a path to build strong character and life skills for their children!!! -Benjamin Kopp M.S., PES, CPT

All of the instructors are great about breaking things down into more digestible pieces when first learning a new skill and working with you until you get it. At 35 and 31 my boyfriend and I struggle with some things and take longer to fully grasp them than the kids but Nik is super patient with us and lets us work at our own pace in order to make sure we master things properly and don't hurt ourselves. He's also very patient with the younger ones and can get even the most easily frustrated and hyper kiddos to pay attention and focus to learn! I'd definitely recommend stopping by and trying out a class if you're unsure, but it's a great deal and you get plenty of one-on-one help when you need it.
