Very disappointed in my experience with The Jungle Design. I go out of my way to support small businesses, especially women-owned businesses, which is why this experience was particularly frustrating.
I got married in February and worked with them as one of my vendors. My wedding planner handled all vendor communications, which included contacting all vendors two weeks before the wedding to confirm that final payments were complete. This is standard practice in the events industry in general, all payments are due prior to the event. And brides specifically go on a honeymoon after their wedding. Regardless, every vendor confirmed we were all set, including The Jungle Design. After the wedding, however, I received a bill stating there was still a remaining balance, which was surprising given the confirmation they had already provided.
Additionally, I personally purchased 24 plant lights to enhance the plant installations since lighting was not something they provide. The lights were delivered with the plants, but after the event they kept them and have not responded to multiple emails requesting their return.
Mackenzie has been the one communicating throughout this process, and I have since learned she is the owner. Unfortunately, the communication and customer service since the wedding have been very disappointing. I would have expected better care, attention to detail, and follow-through--especially when it comes to resolving billing misunderstandings and returning personal property.
When the billing issue first came up, Mackenzie asked that we resolve the matter professionally and quickly. Unfortunately, that same level of professionalism and responsiveness has not been extended in return. read more
