Even though only one of us is gluten-free and doesn't eat dairy (the other one is a regular omnivore), we both loved this place so much that it was our favorite breakfast place in Berlin. I enjoyed the poached eggs with greens, herbs, seeds, and avocado on gluten-free bread, as well as the dragon fruit bowl. Please note that the granola is not gluten-free (which they told me when I asked about), so they left it off (but kept the cashews, bananas, coconut sprinkles and other goodies). Delicious detox and smoothie drinks too (we got a free sample of the detox drink which was out of this world good). When we went back a second time, we made sure to get the detox drink in full size. Highly recommend. I was too full to try their gluten-free and vegan cake but or bliss balls but they looked yummy.

However, she seemed a little judgemental when my partner asked for cow's milk in his latte. I got a chai latte with oat milk and the vegan sandwich. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed both and would order them again. My partner ordered the gluten free banana bread and a milk latte. He said he did not like the bread as it was very dense and there were huge pieces of banana in it. Additionally it was not heated up fully (was cold in the middle).

Juices contain exotic fruits such as caju (the apple that grows around the cashew nut) which I've only ever seen in Brazil or Southeast Asia. My lunch bowl had perfectly cooked black lentils. I can never seem to cook my lentils right. They always go from al dente to mush in 3.2 seconds. Turmeric cauliflower was nicely steamed with some crunch left, but cold. The cashew cream was delicious, and somehow the pomegranate seeds worked, even though I wouldn't have expected them in a savory dish. Finally, the subbed in quinoa for tabbouleh since I don't eat wheat. I had no room for dessert, as my lunch bowl was huge, full of protein and fiber. But I simply had to try their Hell Yeah raw peanut brownie. It was incredibly rich from the raw cacao and coconut oil, almost melting on my plate. Rich, dark, chocolatey, not too sweet, but I hardly got any peanut flavor. The raw cacao nibs sprinkled on top gave a nice crunch, with the coconut meat adding some chew. Almost. The smoothies here are a good thickness and quite tasty. While I was pregnant, my cravings all revolved around fruit, which is why I liked Liquid Garden smoothies quite a bit. The fact that there was seating facing the beautiful Prenzlauer Berg streets made it all the more enjoyable. This place is pricey. I remember the smoothies in the glass bottles were like €7 or €8, which made them the cost equivalent of SF smoothies. You do get a couple of Euros back once you return the bottle, though.

Getting the taste right can sometimes be really tricky with green smoothies but they figured out the right balance and amount of ingredients. Most of their ingredients are fresh and in order to really get things as fresh as possible their menu may change a bit depending on the season and what fruits are available. Also loved their cold pressed juices. They're good to be taken home and consumed a day later or two. Last but not least, they also serve vegan soups, energy balls and raw brownies. The brownies don't contain any sugar or milk and taste just put sanding. Get ready to be healthy and spend quite a bit of money too.
