My husband Monroe has been in pain since November. He did not get positive results from his…read moreprimary physicians so I referred him to Dr. Tom. Best thing I could have done for him. Dr. Tom reviewed his CT scan, treated him at the office and referred him to Pain Medicine. Dr. Tom and his office set up a meeting for Monroe with Pain Medicine for that day. Monroe and I drove to Tampa and were seen within minutes. The result, Monroe is scheduled for injections into 2 levels of his Lumbar spine which should help with this horrible pain he has been living with for so long. I have been a patient of Dr. Tom and can personally speak of his experience and bedside manner. Literally, I have walked into his office limping and crooked and walked out strong and straight....nope, not exaggerating. I followed his recommendation to not let anyone try to keep me on pain management & scheduled surgery with the surgeon he recommended Asap....along with following a list of other lifestyle adjustments he recommended. Once the surgeon cleared me for chiropractic care, when I called to schedule a follow up, Dr F rudely advised me he's dropped me as a patient w/reference to a letter I never received. He wouldn't even provide a referral! Horrible bedside manner. He comes across as an angry person who uses negative and fear based communication with no respect for personal autonomy or the mental wellness of patients who are in pain. Each time I interacted with him I felt disrespected, spoken down to, and sad, unlike Dr J who sincerely seemed to care & provided very educational, positive communication & encouragement. Unfortunately, he controls her to the degree that when he took over treating me that 1) I had no say in the matter / wasn't even asked if I wanted him to take over (which I didn't because of his bad attitude) and 2) it appears that he's instructed her & the staff that she & I can no longer communicate. Shocking, appalling & the most unprofessional behavior I've ever encountered with chiropractors. WORST experience with a doctor in a LIFETIME. Now, I'm recovering from major spinal surgery, and the doctor who recommended it, abandoned me with no notice, explanation, or even a referral. #Fail
