Im dad i won't be able to go back to this location. Dr Castillo was amazing. He does something with pulling the arm that can get very single bone others can't. They're amazing at this location and very helpful. The only thing negative is the parking lot. Traffic comes in all directions so you have to pay attention when pulling out. I wish they had the same skill level in all locations. I've been to several and this by far was the best when it comes to treatment and service. read more

I understand that the establishment closes at 4. I walked in at 3:55 (knowing that it doesn't take more than 2-3 minutes for maintenance). They denied me because they had one person ahead of me. I don't normally come to this location, and thank goodness for that. Terrible customer service. If you have paying patients, you should accept them. Check your paperwork closely don't believe what they say verbally to you. I wanted to pay for my one visit and they convinced me to pay for a membership and just cancel it before the 4th because I need the few free visits that month... come to find out you have to cancel before the 2nd and they will not correct it or make it right. Doesnt matter what the receptionist and chiropractor said to me in person (because they were both talking to me). I should have assumed they were lying and checked my paperwork dates. Guess that was my second mistake after agreeing to sign up. Now I was charged over $70 again and they don't care to make it right. I ended up using the other visits elsewhere because the chiropractor made my neck worse. Wow, I am so glad there is a Joint Chiropractic office this close to Randolph AFB!!! I have been having severe back problems for the past week and just couldn't find a solution for my pain and spasms. After seeing two separate Drs an ER visit and a plethora of muscle relaxers nothing could take my pain away... even though my health insurance doesn't cover chiropractic care (Tri-Care Prime) my PA recommending I see a chiropractor. I have heard about The Joint Chiropractic but the closest one a college of mine goes to was on the west side of San Antonio... I googled The Joint and low and behold one just opened up off Kitty Hawk next to HEB. I headed straight over there after my Dr appointment and was seen my Dr Martin. He listened to all my issues and gave me my first adjustment... I immediately felt some release of pain so I signed up for their monthly plan (no contract). He asked me to come back the following day so I did and I brought my daughter with me because of her (17yr) having back pain from competitive cheer. Dr Martin adjusted me once and again and the next day I was actual able to stand up straight for the first time In over a week!! The Joint Chiropractic is a great place to get adjusted. The Joint Chiropractic is a big corporation with TONS of locations across the states. At the Kitty Hawk location, I've seen Dr. Koolman. Like the other locations, it's not very "specialized" in the aspect that they aren't going to do in-depth patient care and are more focused on those who want a quick alignment, so to speak. No x-rays or exams. Some people may want that but if you're more into the quick "in and out" this place is for you. After your initial $29 assessment ($19 for military), they will likely recommend one of their packages, but they provided a complimentary 3 visit card with no charge (outside of the $19). So, I guess my advice would be to start your "Wellness Package" (4 visits per month with $59 membership) after your 3 free visits. Unless you think you would visit 7 times in one month. If so, the more the merrier! Dr. Koolman is pretty straightforward. It's definitely not for those who are delicate because it can be rough, but isn't chiropractic care used to get to the areas you can't get to yourself? This is essential for my well-being, health, and pain management during this crucial time in my life. They also gave me a "First Responder" discount which really helps as well. The receptionist and the chiropractor were both pleasant, welcoming, professional, courteous, and comfortable. The adjustment I received was thorough and professional. I've been to a lot of chiropractors in my life as i've had back pain as well as a major jaw surgery contribute to a lot of neck pain. When I came here i came because the joint chiropractor i usually see in new braunfels wasnt there so i decided to try out this location. not only were they discriminating against my mother and i who have health issues and make mask wearing difficult but the chiropractor that did my back was WRECKLESS. he didn't read my profile about my history nor did he act upon it. he didn't see what was out and he didn't feel what might've been out of place or take is time. i have NEVER had a chiropractor adjust me the way he did. he did an awful job and i walked out with more pain than i came with and he started swinging around my neck about to pop it and doing it fast without even feeling around. extremely careless and i told him to get off of me. my history has certain parts of my body delicate and he did an absolutely AWFUL a job. and he has the audacity to recommend more exercise for me to heal my injury. excuse me- i play national volleyball for 4 hours a day and lift weights for an hour in the morning, do not begin to tell me anything related to exercise when in my damn profile he could've read that i do it for multiple hours a day very competitively. i will absolutely never be returning to this chiropractor or location and i canceled my joint membership immediately. no thank you, i didn't need to get more injured through something that was supposed to relieve pain. read more

As an orthopedic PA and future MD I sometimes refer my patients to this establishment, but will NEVER happen again as I care deeply about the customer experience so I can't in good faith continue making this recommendation. I went here because I was having severe hip and back pain. It was my first time seeing a chiropractor. They asked me some questions and did an adjustment on my back. X-rays were never taken. In the process of adjusting my back, I had a severe pain in my ribs with a loud cracking sound and have been in severe pain since. Not sure if he cracked a rib or if it's just bruised. He then recommended I come in a few times a week for $70.00 a month. For hurting me? I don't think so. I will not be back. read more
