I was charged twice for my initial visit WITHOUT my knowledge or consent because the receptionist made a mistake and gave me the wrong time for my initial appointment. I did not know I'd been charged twice until looking at my credit card statement months later, and the doctor would not respond to any of my requests to have this fixed or speak to me. Essentially a scam to charge patient's twice. I know this was an underhanded tactic because I received an email notification the second time they charged my card (which I thought was the only time), but the first time (which they said they would not charge me for as it was a mistake on their end) I received no notification. The receptionist was rude and completely unhelpful. I've seen dozens of doctors across facilities and never been treated the way I was here, do yourself a favor and see a doctor with some compassion who treats patients like human beings, and is not a scam artist. This guy is a common thief.

Because it is a controlled substance, refills cannot be processed more than three days before the current supply runs out. I was assured this would not be an issue, but when the prescription was sent, it was missing a required diagnostic code. Despite this being a simple fix, I have heard nothing back after calling the office repeatedly and sending multiple messages through the patient portal. I even reminded them that I will be heading home soon, so if they delay any longer, I won't be able to pick it up at this pharmacy. It has been three days with zero resolution, updates, or call-backs. I am writing this review in hopes that it finally prompts someone to address my situation immediately.

However, the best staff there was Dexter, their office puppy! Nervous about your first visit? No worries, Dex is there to keep you company, the goodest boy. So imagine working as a nurse, on your feet 12-16+ per day, 3-4x per week with lower back pain, it is legit a mood killer. Aka, that was my life for 3 months up until I met Dr. Mathai. I had this wicked lower back pain that caused me to have decreased mobility and limited my range of motion. I was getting weekly massages and seeing other chiropractors, I even got an MRI for my lower back since the pain was so severe. Fast forward to my session, Dr. Mathai was super thorough and attentive to my concerns, and gave his recommendation of what he thought I had and how he can help with my pain. One hour after my session, I didn't notice a major difference but a slight decrease in pain. And within the next 48 hours, my mobility increased and the pain gradually went away. Within the 1st week, my pain was almost gone and my range of motion was almost returned to normal. My insurance doesn't have a chiropractor coverage, so I paid a small out of pocket cost ( less than $75). So. Worth. It. So am I recommending this office? 100%. Will definitely be back for additional sessions.
