A chiropractor that cares & is excellent at what they do is hard to find. I'm so fortunate to have found that at The Joint on Eldorado in McKinney. I have arthritis in my back, neck and shoulders, and chiropractic care keeps me moving. I love the convenience of being able to drop by anytime I'm in the neighborhood and there's never a long wait. Email states I have 23 days from the email to complete and once I arrived the young lady at the front desk who was too busy with her phone to notice I walked in told me they were only doing it for the month of July when my email clearly stated it was still good for that location in the month of August. read more

Today I spent an hour and a half waiting to be seen at this location when this is supposed to be a quick in and out process. I had my son with me for the first hour who is six and deaf, he did his best to be patient. His father came to pick him up because he could not wait any longer. Hopefully I will get him in soon. Over the last few days I have struggled with headaches coming and going which is not common for me and my son fell at school and need to be seen. Today was our first chance that we could come to be adjusted. The lobby was full the entire time I was there and only one chiropractor was seeing patients. If you need to be seen and don't have all day to wait I recommend going to a different location. Today is Saturday and there should have been at least two chiropractors with the flow of patients they had coming in today. This specific business does not have therapies, nor do you receive a massage, only an adjustment so waiting for as long as my son could and as long as I did was upsetting. read more

If zero stars could be given I would. Tried to sell my husband on packages immediately and refused to offer service unless he signed up for an 8 visit plan. Also the front desk receptionist had 2 other customers go before my husbands appointment because they were "regulars". don't go here, complete waste of time. read more

The only reason I went here was because it's the only place open on a Sunday and I woke up with terrible neck paid, like I couldn't even turn my neck. It was my first time and was told my appointment time was at 11. 11:51 rolls around and I finally got called back. The front desk girl was very sweet, but said "sorry we were on an hour wait this morning." So what's the point of making an appointment??? Ive never been to a chiropractor where they didn't do X-rays and to me that seems a little sketchy because you can pinpoint where the issue is. I went in with neck pain so they cracked my neck and shooed me on my way. The pain is almost worst, so I won't be going back. It's the McDonald's of chiropractors. They just want people in and out as fast as possible and monthly pass sales. read more

I came here because of a nagging lower back issue for over 2 years with no relief, I have to say the Joint treats you like family and the gals at the front desk are always expressing a welcoming environment, I love the no appoint system. Its first in first out. I have to give a huge shout out to Dr. O. as well, she,s amazing, her work is done with professionalism and sincerity to your bodies needs. This place is a scam, $29 for somebody to press on my hip and tell me I need to come back tomorrow to get adjusted. I've been to a few good chiropractors that will ACTUALLY adjust you and not try to upsell on multiple visits. Only reason it got one star is because the lady at the front desk was really nice. This is my favorite location of The Joint. The chiropractor here is very good! She explains things very well and I always feel better when I leave. I've been to other locations where I actually felt worse after leaving. The only thing I don't like about The Joint is how they push memberships or return visits. I'm always encouraged to come back again during the same week or several times per month. My sister in law is a chiropractor and she always says that most people (I know some people have more chronic issues and thats different) don't need more than 4-5 adjustments to fix their issue. So memberships and continuous visits are either a waste or your real problem that's causing the misalignment isn't actually being addressed. Mine is the latter (I really should stretch more and workout the areas that cause me issues) but I only usually need to go a couple of times per year. When I do, this is my go-to location. read more

Signed my husband up, and he hasn't used any of his appointments. He requested a refund & the receptionist was extremely rude. We were also told at the initial visit that we would just have to call to cancel. This woman said we had to come into the office to cancel. I don't understand why we can't get a refund if we haven't used your services. We've also seen other reviews that say they were charged even after asking to cancel. I am going to call my bank to make sure they put a stop payment on this company to prevent any fraudulent charges. read more

I never thought I would get relief from my back pain from a Chiropractor. I tried another doctor some time ago, but was not overly impressed with him, or their prices. So I stopped going. The Joint suits my needs, as far as no appointment needed, I can just run in. MaryAnn Osifo is very attentive, and is very dedicated to her work. For the first time in years I can run, and not have horrible back pain afterwards. On top of that, after signing a contract, I get 4 visits a month for $49. I highly recommend giving them a try. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I went in for a first time adjustment and the chiropractor was so incredibly rude. I had neck stiffness and explained why I was there and why I'd sought out chiropractic care and the chiropractor just asks me "so what do you want?" Seriously? I want you to assess and help me find relief! After the incredibly rushed and impatient adjustment, all she tells me is to hydrate and ice when I go home....I asked if she could give me an idea of what she detected or if she had any feedback or information about what was done to me and literally she goes "well we don't have x-day vision so without an x-ray I can't tell you what's going on but we just pushed through the limited range of motion. Got anything else for me?" Keep in mind this was a CONSULTATION, and adjustment, so I would have appreciated some more feedback and far less attitude from this chiropractor who honestly was treating me like a nuisance for even being there. Not only that, at that point I honestly felt that the stiffness in my neck had then migrated to right below my left shoulder, I told her that it definitely didn't feel right, to which she didn't even hesitate before saying "it's your first adjustment in a long time so your body is not used to it." Basically, shut up and get out of here. Save your money and spend it elsewhere where they are going to treat you like a human being. If you're looking for chiropractic care, this is not the place or at least definitely not the provider with whom to burn your money and walk out feeling WORSE. read more

My friend recommended Dr Mike who was fantastic. The problem was I went to MCKINNEY on a Sunday when I live in Allen because I was in pain and that was the location for him that day. I purposely asked for Allen to be my home base knowing I wouldn't come back. The receptionist told me no problem, she would transfer the paperwork. Now I'm going to Allen and their telling me MCKINNEY will always be my home base and any changes have to go through Mckinney. This is ridiculous. I tried explaining I don't live near MCKINNEY, Allen is literally 4 mins from my home. I need to put a hold on my account and was told they'd email the paperwork so I don't have to travel. I'm still waiting. Customer service is awful. Corporate policy is ridiculous. Ready to cancel my account. read more

I walked in with neck pain, and needed an adjustment or 5 to get it feeling better. I went back to meet with the doctor, and immediately, the hard sell started. Every time a check was done, I was told that I really need to have regular adjustments, otherwise I will never get better. While I understand that chiropractic care is an ongoing process, hard sales techniques are highly inappropriate. This is preying on peoples pain and suffering. I did not go to buy a new car. When I was checking out, I was told that I could prepay for my 6 upcoming sessions. I was given a quote of $179 for 6 visits, yet it is $69 for 4 visits. I was also told that if I didn't sign up today, the price would be higher next time I came in. It's a good thing I won't be going back. read more
