Let me tell you why... Shon. That's why. Her style is a bit different than what you may think of as traditional massage insomuch as she uses her feet. I want to emphasize that if you like pressure, that's the best thing you could want! First, I know what some of you may be thinking. But she sanitized her feet before, sanitized me, and then put the oils. Very clean process. Then when it was time for the massage...wow! It was deep tissue alright, and it was better deep tissue than I've ever had. Her contact was firm (what I asked for) and controlled. She was working out knots and getting deep into some pressure points. Can't stress enough how good it was. It was an easy decision to make ECM the place to go and Shon to be who I go to. Prices are very good as well. Much better than the chain places, as well as the experience!

When I started going to Corrective Chiropractic, I was in a good amount of pain. Within 4 short months, Dr. Wickstrom made me feel better than I had in years. He took time to do x-rays and walk through them to show areas of degeneration. At that point, he provided options and took my lead. He is very informative but not pushy and is willing to answer any/all questions you may have. The office is very clean, and wait times are always minimal. In addition to chiropractic care, they offer wellness plans and supplements. They're the full package! If you're looking for a great chiropractor, I highly recommend Corrective Chiropractic!

Most of the other chiropractors in Greenville are just running you in and out. I didn't feel like a number but the adjustments are also very quick. I have also never meet a chiropractor who is so professional. I had a much better understanding of what my treatment was going to be and the reasons behind it before we even started. On September, 23 my brother did blood work on a Monday and always had an office visit several days later. When I called a week or so later I was told he was to have a physical, not an office visit. This has never been the case... I am his Healthcare. Power of Attorney so I knew that was not correct and nobody had told me. I asked about his blood work to be told it was incomplete. I asked why I was told to call Lab Corp to see what the hold-up was. I called Lab Corpor only to be told the sample received was not usable and they had advised the doctor's office. The Lady also explained they should have given me a call to schedule more blood work. I called Dr. Baccerra's office back and was told to bring him in. The CBC was done and no call to advise of the results. I again visited the doctor's office and asked why I wasn't called with the results. It was written on the blood work to make sure POA got a copy. Today was his office visit they still saying physical was for the visit. I told Dr. Baccerra that there was a mix-up and discussed the issues I had from the previous interaction with his office. He began to tell me in so many words that I was wrong about the blood work. When I finally pinned him on the fact that I was right. He proceeded to discharge my brother from his practice. And became some what combative and accusing me of being rude. I asked for better clarification for the mix-up. I couldn't believe he would discharge a 73-year-old patient. Instead of an apology, he became angrier. and because he wasn't telling the truth he rather discharge my brother. I got his license number and left the office. My goal was to ensure my brother got the best care due to his age. If you are not satisfied with a doctor's explanation you can ask them to clarify. If they discharge you that is not the practice for you. Please locate a doctor who takes your concerns seriously.

After I saw the PT and began to…read morecheck out, I was then informed that Avila is considered "out of network" with my Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. Why didn't they tell me this prior to being seen. Especially when I told them I had BCBS when I made the appointment. After being told they were "out of network" I was then given a fee schedule type form, giving me two options: 1. I could pay them $190 for them to file with my insurance (which may or may not be covered) and then my BCBS might reimburse me, or 2. I could pay them $150 as an out of pocket patient. As you can imagine, I was taken aback by the fact that they waited until AFTER I was seen, to tell me they were "out of network" and then demand that I pay one of their fees. The way in which they said I needed to pay seemed very shady and I felt like I had just been duped. They then tried to tell me that they had provided me with a disclaimer before my appointment, but they in fact did not. This disclaimer that they then showed me is not on their website either. I downloaded the all of the patient forms and there is no such disclaimer. Call me a skeptic, but they wait until the patient is done with therapy and in a good amount of pain to spring this on them? This not only makes one feel mislead, but deliberately taken advantage of. Do not go to Avila Physical Therapy!!! I will be writing them a letter of demand, for $120 of the $150 I paid them. They should get my co-pay of $30, but that's all they should get.

At the end of July, I somehow injured my left shoulder, and curtailed my weekly game for the next 6 weeks, hoping the rest would restore my swing without further pain. Since the daily pain persisted into September, I made an appointment with my GP, who recommended physical therapy. After 5 weeks, without any improvement, I still could not lift my arm above shoulder height, I saw Dr. Cohen. He immediately diagnosed my problem (rotator cuff out of alignment) and adjusted my body. The results are amazing, first off, my daily pain has now subsided, and I am able to reach my arm across my body, and over my head, something I could not do last week. He did such a great job, and I'm very thankful for his knowledge and technique for putting me back together, pain free!!! I highly recommend his services, if you have any problems conventional doctors either can't deal with, or don't have the time or patience to figure out the issues. James S. November 2025
