Incompetent management. Long wait times and the doctors are overworked and understaffed. Dr Middleton is the only doctor that has adjusted me lately that is worth anything and he is retiring in 2 weeks. I wrote a couple of complaint forms on their site and instead of fixing the issues, they lied and made up excuses and then terminated my contract with them. Great way to help patients. They are delusional to say the least. Dr Brittany she calls herself is pathetic. She had audacity to not let me speak on the phone when she called me. She has quite the ego you might say. If your looking for a place to keep your body moving and in great physical shape then this is the place for you. I couldn't even stand up straight my Back completely went out I looked all over for a chiropractor But nobody anywhere were taking new clients, so I saw this online and thought I would give it a shot for the price $ was great! You can make an appointment but I love that you don't have to make an appointment you come as you can whenever they are open first come first serve. Scan your card, no hassle and usually no long lines between the hours of 12pm to 3pm... Great staff if you're looking for a woman I would go with "Bethany" (only works Tuesday's at this Location) she is amazing she can pretty much do any size person and adjust them very easily man or woman and same for Michael (he is off on Thursday's) if your looking fir a man to do adjustments? And I signed up for the monthly deal it's cheaper than paying every time you go in and so worth it because you're taking care of your body and A little tip get them to do your sinuses if you have headaches they can do your hair as well with a little machine for pressure points I love it it opens my sinuses up every time I go. DOV: Friday, April 13 @ 4:30pm I have been going to The Joint on and off for several years now and I have had a sort of love/hate relationship with this office from the beginning. When they first opened they had trouble keeping the doors open due to staffing issues -- couldn't keep chiropractors on staff. I stopped going for that reason b/c it seemed that every time I needed to go, the place was closed due to an "Emergency." They seemed to have ironed all that out now and they have a good group of docs who enable them to run the business the way it is supposed to be run. There are a few things I like about The Joint: 1) Their hours of operation. They are open M - F from 10a - 7p and Sa from 10a - 4p. They are closed on Su. Versatile hours. 2) No appointment is required so you can walk in at your convenience and there is rarely a wait. 3) You can buy a package deal and save major $$$. Their regular visit price is $39 (after your initial promo visit price of $29) If you buy 20 visits your price per visit dips below $20, well worth the $399 if you are going to end up going 20 times anyway. And the visits are good at any Joint across the country and they never expire. They also have 6-visit and 10-visit packages. 4) You can buy a Wellness Plan for $59 per month which gives you 4 visits per month. That averages out to less than $15 per visit. If you need to go more than 4 times you pay just $10 per visit. Pretty impressive. Youth (17 and under) pay only $39 per month - less than $10 per visit. Some people use The Joint as their backup chiropractor when they need to be seen after their doc has closed for the day or on Saturday (sometimes it can't wait) I like The Joint for this reason myself. I have my own chiropractor but she is not always available when I need her and The Joint usually is. Not to try and break you away from your current chiropractor, but you should probably give The Joint a try sometime. They are competitively priced and the docs they have now are friendly and competent. And, it never hurts to have a backup plan when you need it! Made an appointment and was told that I would be seen even if I already have a chiropractor and needed transient/maintenance care. I arrived for my appointment with paperwork ready, and was then told I wouldn't be seen because they didn't want to mess up what my chiropractor had already done (even though I'm still having pain). I had heard good things about them, but after reading some of the more negative reviews on here as of late, I was suspect, and for good reason it seems. If any chiropractor doesn't have enough sense to understand that (patient in pain + assessment reveals patient in pain = treat patient), then you should see a different chiropractor, LOL. What a joke of a business. Find a different business to entrust your care to. read more

I love going to the joint! They work on my family and friends as well. If I felt like I have had an issue, I immediately let them know so it is handled. That very rarely happens. My job requires me to go regularly due to its physicality. I love all the staff because they are very caring. read more

Not to be trusted. Do NOT sign up for their monthly service with auto billing. I had a face to face conversation with the receptionist and clearly stated that I was moving out of state and to close the account. My credit card was tapped me for 3 extra months for services never provided. At their instance I had to travel to Anderson to wet sign a.document or billing would continue. Furthermore, my request for refund was denied. One star is too high a rate. The owners have no understanding of proper business ethics. BEW You're making my point valid. I went to this place back in 2016 and quit because of their so-called payment plans which, in my opinion, are a rip-off. I went back today because I am in a lot of distress with lower back issues and after filling out all the paperwork and waiting, I was yelled at from the back room to come back, told not to sit down and was refused treatment because I am on Medicare with a supplement company and my issue was considered acute care. I did not want or intend to file my visits on Medicare and told the doctor that....I wanted to pay for my own visits out of my pocket. Nope, no can do. But the doctor held out a business card and referred me to her friend who she said could treat me.........no thanks, I'll find my own chiropractor or other solution. read more

Dim bulb issues, I sent in to sign up as a client & was presented with 6 pages to complete of med history & consents. The receptionist didn't understand why I had not signed the form that includes, "By signing this Informed Consent, I acknowledge that I have discussed, or have had the opportunity to discuss, with my Doctor of Chiropractic..." I explained that I had not met with the doctor & would not be able to sign the form until I had. Her response, "if you don't sign, I can't do anything." I took the papers (signed & unsigned) and left. Pop quiz - which of the following shows the least level of intelligence... A) people who sign consents & contracts they haven't read. B) receptionists who insist people sign (though they don't understand the forms themselves). C) The Joint management that designed the process & staff training. D) all of the above read more

I used to go to the joint all the time, never had an issue but then I had an accident at home and the chiropractor couldn't see me until I had X-rays. I didn't have insurance at the time because I had just switched jobs. Pretty bummed because everyone was always friendly. I know the chiropractor did the right thing. Horrible. Do not go here. The customer service from the Chiropractor was horrible. I waited for 1.5 hour as a new patient and she still saw other people before me who arrived only 5 mins prior. I told her I was waiting for 1.5 hours. She looked at me, got an attitude and said that they will only take 5 mins. As a business owner, customer service should be the most important thing. I got up and walked out because I didn't want any one with that bad of customer service working on me. The receptionist apologized because she knew it was wrong. I would never recommend this place. I called ahead to let them know that I was in horrible pain, as I had hurt my back at work. The receptionist said there was a new patient that would be done in 20 minutes. When I arrived, there were 3 new patients. I asked if I could be worked in, as the Dr. knew the adjustment I would need and it would only take 3 minutes. I was on my lunch break and couldn't get back before the clinic closed. The Dr. laughed about it and said I could just go to Greenville or come back after work. She had no empathy whatsoever. Considering that I called ahead, I don't see why she couldn't have given me a quick adjustment. My workplace would fire me if I had to constantly leave work early. I will never go to the Anderson Clinic again. read more
