I had some back problems which started nearly a year ago. At the suggestion of my girlfriend I decided to give The Joint Chiropractic a chance and signed up for their monthly program. First problem was that my appointments were no more than five minutes long. I always felt rushed and that they were more worried about getting me out the door than helping me. Second problem was that it was hit or miss on what type of chiropractor was going to work on me. There are one or two people there that were okay at best and a couple that were terrible. Third problem was after going their for several months I didn't notice any improvement At the advice of my doctor I started going to a different chiropractor and I was surprised that it started helping me almost immediately. My appointments were longer and more thorough. The doctor actually cared and did many things that The Joint failed to do. Fourth and final problem was when I contacted the Joint to cancel my account I looked on line at their facts and they said all I needed to do was to call and verify a few facts to prove it was my account and it would be canceled. This did not happen. I was told that I needed to fill out a form and send it in to have my account canceled. They sent me the form which I completed and returned and thought that was the end of it. Then yesterday I noticed that my account was charged again! I immediately contacted them and they said they never received the form. (which I don't believe). I sent in the form again today and we will see what happens. Be careful with these guys. They are a franchise so they are only worried about themselves and it feels like a scam. read more

While all of the doctors are good, my son and I come in specifically for Dr. Wise. He's AMAZING!! I walk out every single week feeling 10000% better than when I went in. The way Dr. Jarry manages this location is what makes it so special. He enables the doctors to spend however much time they need on each patient to make sure they get the best care possible. While this is a franchise of a larger company, this location is not a "Crack & Go" one, unlike other locations that want you in and out as quickly as possible. My son and I won't go anywhere else. My husband was having issues with his back and mentioned wanting to see a chiropractor. This was around 5PM during a workweek and luckily for us...this place is open until 7PM and has amazing reviews. I called before heading out and they said they accepted walk-ins and on top of it, they promoted a $10.00 discount if you check-in on Yelp while there. They are winning me over and I haven't even arrived. Note: They said new patients need to arrive before 6:00 PM. The location is located in a strip mall setup near to L.A. Fitness, Poke Fresh, and Ya Mon Jamaican Cuisine. There is plenty of parking. The lobby and the facility are clean and inviting. It was pretty easy to fill out the paperwork and not that long of a wait time to see the chiropractor who adjusted my husband. I would recommend this place for anyone needing a chiropractor in terms of how the adjustment went, but I have to deduct some stars due to the customer service level and professionalism of the front desk staff. When I showed her the coupon on Yelp, she said she didn't know anything about it. I told her I wanted to speak to the manager/owner and she seemed agitated with the request. She eventually charged us for a full session at the introductory $29 and refunded $10 bucks on the credit card but commented again about she never knew about this coupon. Well, someone in your company paid for marketing on Yelp for it to appear.....so, yeah. The situation could have been handled better. read more

The chiropractor seemed very knowledgeable, but the whole business model of this place just isn't for me. If I could see him in a different office setting I would. I could feel the pressure on him to get the consult and adjustments done quickly and get on to the next person. Not his fault... there was a waiting room with 4 people behind me. I feel this would be a good place if you just like to get some quick maintenance adjustments... but not if you have a particular issue that you really need to work through. Maybe I would go back here when I get to some type of maintenance phase. ETA: The front desk lady was sassy when I wanted to ask a question to the chiropractor about the potential of stroke before signing away liability. I just wanted to ask a question... I wasn't expecting him to touch me before signing anything. She either didn't understand or didn't like that and gave me an attitude about it. I typically have good visits. However the Chiripractor that I was seen by today was rude, abrasive, and ruff. I did not ask his name, description yes, salt and pepper hair and his table is towards the back. I'm usually really vocal when I don't like something, but I was like a dear in headlights, flabbergasted, by his lack of professional. Most doctors have a bit of care and compassion, he was void of all. When he was finished with my adjustment, he simply said quickly, "How do you feel, see you next week." Me, still at a lost for words. I do want to be fair, as well, I apologize for not having names, but I was worked on this past Saturday by the Chiropractor that is toward the front. I could barely move when I walked in. He was amazing, kind, considerate, informative, and gentle. After a few day in bed I am 95% better. read more

What brought me to The Joint was when I was in dire need of an adjustment on a Saturday morning a year ago and couldn't get an appointment from my previous chiropractor nor from my wife's current chiropractor. I know the importance of immediacy when you need an adjustment and reached out to The Joint, who could see me immediately. While I didn't initially like the idea of a membership, since they only required a 2-month commitment, it was not a big deal. A year later, I'm still going and here's why: I no longer wait until real back pain presents itself before going. Instead, I go for regular adjustments...on my schedule. I've been a patient of chiropractic on and off for years. I've tried more than one of the Doctors that work with The Joint. Most have offered some relief. One day I discovered an office just 10 minutes from my house and gave them a try. I'll never go anywhere else having experienced the knowledgeable Dr. Phil Meyers. He did a treatment specifically for my needs instead of the rote techniques employed by some practitioners. The best news is today! When leaving our favorite restaurant my wife looked up to see a massage sign and said that she was in such pain that she might even consider going in to "get a rub" - if we had the time, which we didn't. I suggested she join me while I got "my body cracked" and get a treatment for the introductory price. She tacitly agreed, but proclaimed she WOULD NOT buy their discounted program. Her quote - "One old hippie using hoowie quasi-medical stuff in our family is enough." She got her treatment while I waited. When I got up from my treatment 10 minutes later she was already at the receptionist desk filling out the paperwork. I guess we have two old hippies in the family now. This would get negative stars if that were an option. After more than a year of being a weekly customer and seeing chiropractors here my last visit resulted in a trip to the ER. When hit with medical bills, called and explained the situation to owner/operator, not only did she not pay anything toward medical bills but then tried to sell me on allowing thier staff to provide services at my place of work. She also refused to provide insurance information. Once I started digging in on this place, found that the doctor who gave me the adjustment that sent me to the ER had a license previously on probation (counts of obstruction) yet this place still hired him and, he was fired shortly after my visit. Some of the doctors were good others were not. The inconsistency was extremely frustrating. The last doctor I saw put me in the hospital. Shorty after he was fired. Unfortunately for me, the franchise has no dispute resolution whatsoever and they simply quit returning calls. Corporate office suggested that I contact the local franchise, which was obviously useless advice. If you choose to use chiropractic, I absolutely do not recommend The Joint. After a bit more digging, I discovered that the Dr. that adjusted me has had his chiropractic license put on probation for nearly a year before he was hired at the Joint. I strongly suggest avoiding the "fast food" model that the Joint uses and spend a few more dollars to go to a legit chiropractic clinic. read more

"The Joint" has a very poor business ethics. They get you to signed a contract. In the contract there is a TWO MONTH waiting period to disenroll from the contract. What good company needs that? Then if your HSA, they keep charging month to month without ever sending out a notice of charging you, there are no statements of any kind. THEY KEEP CHARGING UNTIL THE ACCOUNT IS DRAINED even though you do not use their services. Shameful! If you use their service, remember the Devil is in the details. read more

5 star reviews for me are rare. Let's face it-I have high expectations in regards to customer service. Dr. Jarry has been so wonderful getting me back to feeling 100%. I came to him after being out of chiropractor care for almost a year; I was in a lot of pain and he was able to get me back to normal in a few visits. He is so nice, and I can tell he listens to my concerns. I can tell he really cares about his patients and has a passion for chiropractic care.
