We want to make the process of settling our estate as easy as possible for our children. I hope they don't need to refer to this document for many years in the future but it is a big comfort to know that we have these documents all prepared for when that time comes. It's hard to believe 75% of people die without a will and settling an estate gets tied up in probate court and how much time and court fees that involves. We briefly met with Isaac and mainly worked with Ana. We met one time to go over the decisions that needed to be made and then a few weeks after that to sign the documents. Ana took time in our initial meeting to explain everything and listened patiently to all of our questions. She was very knowledgeable and professional and has our best interests in mind. She is a very kind person and takes pride in her work. Call Shutt Law Firm today and make an appointment. Your loved ones will appreciate your planning for the future.

I had a few questions I forgot to ask between the initial consultation and actual will signing. I was shocked at how responsive she is. It was refreshing dealing directly with an attorney. Communication was almost nonexistent -- emails and calls were rarely returned, and when I did get a response, it lacked clarity, urgency, or any real strategy. There was no follow-through, no clear action taken on my case, and no sense that anyone was truly advocating for me or my children. I trusted this attorney to guide me through one of the most emotionally difficult seasons of my life, and instead, I was met with delay, indifference, and complete lack of effort. This law firm displayed everything a family lawyer should not: lack of transparency, poor communication, and zero sense of accountability. I would not recommend them to anyone -- especially not someone needing real support through a sensitive and high-stakes legal matter.

I needed to have my estate plan completely updated. I wanted to work with a progressive law firm…read morewhose values reflected my own. After months of spinning my wheels looking for a law firm in the Dallas area, and there seemed to be hundreds, one of my professional friends suggested Burch Law. I googled Burch Law and saw that its advertising wasn't the usual cookie cutter advertising that most firms use. It was colorful and inviting. Burch Law stood out from the rest of the pack ... with it's flying red horse logo and great video clips from Lorie Burch explaining what her firm offered without using a lot of legal mumbo jumbo. I called and made an appointment. Since I live near the Burch Law offices I called and made an in-person appointment. I met Melyssa and she explained how the Burch Law team would work with me to create a personalized estate plan. She was great! No pressure, just the information I needed to make an informed decision. Having Burch Law draw up my estate plan was one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. I am very impressed by their attention to detail; I had a team with whom to work. A great lawyer, Struti, a great case manager, Sam, and of course Melyssa who I first met. I felt very supported throughout the process. Another thing that really impressed me was when I'd message a question that it was promptly answered. Burch Law continues its support even after the papers have been signed and notarized. It's a wonderful feeling knowing my estate is fully protected and that I have a team to call with any future questions and/or needs. BTW I wholeheartedly recommend Burch Law for your legal needs.

He is heavily experienced, organized, detail oriented and provides top notch service. A friend of mine recommended Mr. Duran where he did some probate work for his moms will. Mr. Duran did a Package for me and my wife including our Wills, Trusts, Trustees, Guardianship, Deed transfer for the house, Directive to physician's and family or surrogates etc. This way we get to decide who gets what and when. Otherwise without the proper legal documents the state gets to decide! Besides Michael Duran, who spent a bit of time with me initially answering a lot of questions, my wife and I also had the pleasure worked with Sara his paralegal. She is also great to work with, she answered our questions, worked with us on schedules, appointments, set up Zoom meetings etc. Both Michael and Sara are always available for emails, phone, texts etc. The Duran Firm is absolutely the best at what they do!
