I've gone to this jewelry store twice to have rings sized and they always deliver with the best service. Parker assisted me with a big size change, and he was spot on with assessing the correct size I needed. The sizing was done quickly and the ring looked amazing despite the drastic change. The pricing is fair for the location and I really appreciated how friendly and helpful each staff member is. read more

The store is awesome until you have a problem. I bought a $10K ring for my wife but had to take it back three times to fix the prongs, at a charge. Mario alleged they went bad due to wear and tear, as if fabric fibers were stronger than platinum. Each time it was a bigger argument with Michelle. The third time, Michelle said she would not charge me but Brenda wanted $275.00 again. I told Brenda that Michelle said it was zero. Michelle then said to me "you are a liar." Insulting and most unprofessional. Michelle should be selling used pickup trucks, not fine jewelry. I liked Brenda, she is dedicated but refused to look at her own in-store video. If you want that kind of treatment, go there. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Michelle walks all over Brenda. Avoid the heartache. Don't go there. read more

Mario was an absolute treat to work with. We found the atmosphere and pricing to be exactly as expected. I'll be picking up my ring in a week and would recommend to anyone in the market for jewelry. read more

Amazing staff amazing service 100% recommend will be coming back , thank you jewelry source!

Outstanding store !!! A++. Second to none customer service. I needed to change an order ( of my doing ) and because of this I reduced the $$$ spent by half. It was a good sized sale I might add originally. They allowed me do this with no disappointment expressed and did everything they could to make me happy. No urging needed on my part for this. A class act and Parrish especially deserves a shout out. Well done and thank you. Would recommend this store to anyone looking to buy jewelry read more

My fiancé surprised me with a Rolex for my birthday (he took me to magic castle and a magician made it appear!) but it was snug and needed an additional link. Im the kind of person who showers with my fine jewelry because I'm paranoid. Needless to say I was as terrified at the prospect of bringing bringing my new watch in for repair- so I immediately thought: "Who do you TRUST?!?" Brenda the owner has been such a kind, wonderful regular at our restaurant and now we consider her a friend. I knew bringing my watch to The Jewelry Source would put me at ease, and I wouldn't feel the need to follow my watch around. I called to see if they had time to add a link, and Laura very enthusiastically said "Happy Birthday" and said it would be a easy! I was in and out within 5-10 minutes even though the store was packed. Everyone was warm and inviting, and I could tell the staff really enjoyed being here. It's obvious that Brenda takes excellent care of her peeps, and this is something I live by as well. Thank you Laura, Brenda, and all the other wonderful people who made my experience memorable. I will be back ASAP!mks read more

After a quick and pleasant chat on the phone in the morning, I went in today with my son to resize his watch band. It's our first time went to the store even we live in town for years. It's a surprisingly nice experience. Both staff and owner are extremely kind. They are very professional and treat my son as grownup man . They even offer the resizing service for free! We highly recommend The Jewelry Source. We will come back in future to check out more about the store. read more

Great customer service throughout my order process! From my first visit with Laura Hartmann to discuss my jewelry repair needs to picking up my repaired pendant and necklace with Michelle Cruz, I received exceptional customer service. Laura's creativity combined with her analytical skills helped me to bring my vision to life. Within minutes, she was able to share my vision with their onsite jeweler, who then sketched his recommendation of from what the sterling silver frame would look like to encase and reinforce my fragile pendant. Their onsite jeweler Lance Say is amazing and his frame creation was more beautiful and stunning than I could ever imagined. The frame made my pendant look brand new and dazzling. The custom modification of my pendant's matching chain looked flawless. I'm truly impressed with the entire team at The Jewelry Source. Needless to say, they are now my go to jewelry store for present and future needs. Everyone at The Jewelry Source ROCKS AMAZINGLY! read more

The customer service here is phenomenal. I came in today needing help with two very delicate necklaces that were extremely knotted. Laura was extremely helpful and untangled them for me in less than 30 minutes! She would not even accept payment for the service - I couldn't believe it!!! I will definitely be stopping here for all my jewelry needs because The Jewelry Source definitely puts customers first. THANKS FOR YOU HELP!!! read more

My new local favorite jewelry store. I'm so happy I stopped in there. I was actually looking for another jewelers but stumbled into this store. Michelle and Maury are really helpful. They both go out of there way The collections are beautiful as well. They do feature Steven Douglas so know you can always order through them if it's not in stock. But in the past month I have such a comfortable feeling going in there. Everyone's so friendly- they do have a big older dog who greets you and some days he's a little grouchy so he'll say hi and go back to bed. The prices are average for fine jewelry but they also have jewelry that's fun and reasonable. And they're happy to do chain adjustments, etc. I hear this month of September they do a blow out sale. But you really want to see Michelle or Maury After now saying I have been shopping there a few years - Yelp is letting me do an update ! And they have a few new associates Michelle is still there !! And of course Brenda who know can read my mind I called and gave a tiny description of what I need and she said I think I know what would be perfect and it is And it's a sterling silver chain to go with a Tiffany charm from online So now I run every jewelry purchase or idea through her And we came up with the most beautiful bday necklace for me ! And Gemma the watchdog and greeter is still there I love shopping there And for so many reasons But this necklace I'm proud to say I have never seen one like it on anyone or anywhere read more

I took in a wedding ring set that I had first taken to another jeweler. The previous jeweler sized one of the rings, which cracked. They would not stand behind their work even though I hadn't even worn it yet. They also wanted to charge five times the amount they initially quoted to fix the other ring. I took both in to The Jewelry Source in El Segundo because I know they do good work AND can be trusted. From now on, I will only give my business to them. read more

We had a wonderful experience!! We came in last year during Christmas time, when the town was alive with a tree lighting ceremony & festivities. As we walked down the street, my husband surprised me with his idea for my present and gracious and patient as the store was at waiting for him to pay it off (which he did!!!!). Got my ring last week and am a happy wife, because the ring he gave me is by far the most precious and the customer service here is exceptional! They are so friendly and accommodating!! It is a small town and a small quaint little jewelry store with treatment like that of the days of my parents youth. I also love the little doggy the owner has, so cute!!! (actual big dog, but so cute!). We will be coming back, now it's his turn to get his ring (long story) but a story of patience and love and this little gem of a store blends right into it :) read more

I will be back for any jewelry items or repair in the future , and I will highly recommend The Jewelry Source. read more

Hands down, The Jewelry Source is the best place in the South Bay and LA for all your jewelry needs. Their loose gems selection is incredible and Brenda, the owner, even travels internationally to hand pick exquisite quality gems (you can even custom order the stones) which cuts out the middle man thus giving you an incredible gem at an affordable price. They can custom design anything you can imagine at any price point, and will go the extra mile to make sure you are completely thrilled with your jewelry. I have had precious stones added to a cross which turned out to be so incredibly well done to the point that you wouldn't know the stones weren't original to the piece. The store has a vast array of custom pieces and also has major designer labels as well. The selection is always changing so it is worth stopping in often to see the "new arrivals". The jewelry pieces are top notch and you can assure you are getting an investment piece of art and not just a piece that everyone else has from any mall store. As far as jewelry repair goes you can't find a better place to take care of your precious items. They can do everything from small repairs like polishing out scratches, putting in new watch batteries, reconnecting broken chains (like I had done to my 100 year old rosary), etc. and major repairs like refurbishing pieces to put them back to their former glory. My mom has an antique 2 carat sapphire and platinum ring from the 1930's which needs to have the band rebuilt. She has been waiting to find a jewelry store she trusts with her heirloom, and after meeting Brenda she has decided to trust her and her staff to make the repairs. Finally, you can't ask for a better and more caring group of people than the folks at The Jewelry Source. Be prepared for them to want to get to know you and really understand what you are looking for. Don't worry about someone trying to "up-sell" you something more than you want or need. Friendly, knowledgeable and understanding is the best way to describe Brenda and her team. read more

I'm completely satisfied with The Jewelry Source. I came here to get a ring resized. ($99) They said it would take a few days since they were short staffed but they were able to have it ready by the next day or two. When I came in, the ring was still a little too big, so they resized it again. It took another two or three days. Each time I went in, they were friendly. Also, they have three parking spots in the back of their store. I would come back here. read more

This shop was a great find in El Segundo! I have been searching for a jeweler to help me recreate a necklace that I lost a few years ago and I've finally found a place to do this. I presented photos, and they immediately pulled out books and presented examples of how this could be accomplished. I was very impressed by their knowledge and helpfulness in working on this necklace, and they even sent me home with website info to do more homework on finding the exact pieces I wanted to use. Their prices are honest and fair, this is a legitimate business who does great work and actually cares. read more

Walking into The Jewelry Source was similar to meeting up with a group of friends that you haven't seen in awhile. Everyone was upbeat, helpful and engaging whether or not they were assisting you. It was the first day of their 35th anniversary sale and the energy of the customers and staff was electric. This is where you go when you want something special. Maury assisted us in making our daughter's vision a reality. The knowledge, patience and exquisite finished product speaks volumes about the care and detail that go into every order. This is an updated rating. My former review was from 1/2014. Since then, I've been back several times and continue to be impressed. Most recently I had them appraise a family heirloom diamond ring and then today I picked up my favorite hoop earrings---Jewelry Source cleaned them for $15 and they look BRAND NEW! They were black and discolored when I brought them in and I was afraid they were destined for the wastebasket. I'm so thrilled! Thank you! Highly recommended! read more

Well, well, well...where to begin with this one. Many jewelry stores have become so incredibly corporate and impersonal. I would venture to say that is the last thing you would encounter at The Jewelry Source. Brenda and her team offer impeccable customer service, sell and service items at great prices, and always stand behind their product. If you're trying to stay away from your typical jewelry store and want a personal, down home experience, go to the Jewelry Source. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! Would I come here again? Yes. I have most of my jewelry serviced here even though I live out of state. Would I recommend this place to others? You bet. read more

Wow. WOW! WOOOOWW!!! My mother gave me my grandmother's ring to use as my engagement ring. My grandmother was a tiny woman, while I am an Amazon. I needed to get the ring sized and my best friend recommended the Jewelry Source. My mom and I needed to find a store we could trust and not some two bit operation. My mother was very nervous about giving me this ring. She was very close to her mother and is a sentimental person. We went to the Jewelry Source together and were helped by Cindy. Cindy is 110% professional and knows exactly how to put people at ease. She sensed my mother's nervousness and spoke directly to my mom's fears while making me feel cared for. We found out that my ring is from the late 1800's and was handcrafted! We had no idea! Cindy gave us many opportunities to walk away and think about it. The lack of a sales push was exactly what my mom and I needed to put our trust in this place. The ring was size and cleaned beautifully. Cindy and her colleagues did a fantastic job with the ring. I hardly recognize it because it is so shiny and lovely. I cannot stress how much I love the folks at the Jewelry Source. I would trust them with everything I own. read more

I took a pair of my great grandmothers earrings here for repair and four watches. They were so helpful. I had two different women helping me at once. My watches were sent out and had to have a new band ordered. It was less than a week before everything was back. all my watches work great and I love the new band. My great grandmothers earrings were also repaired quickly and look like they will withstand another 85 years. I can't wait to go clean out my jewelry box and bring them more things to make look brand new! read more

I've been coming to Brenda for all of my jewelry needs for over 22 years. While I am on a teacher's budget, most of my business has been reworking or enhancing family pieces I have inherited over the years. Brenda remade my husband's wedding ring when we realized the design was less than well made. She restrung vintage pearls I inherited from a great grandmother. She helped me pick out and made a beautiful pendant out of my mother's diamond from her wedding band when she passed away so that I can wear it close to my heart. She mounted another diamond from my grandmother into an earring I wear in a second hole on one ear. She reworked my original wedding ring (that one didn't work out) into one piece, white gold with an oval canary diamond in the center and marquise all around it (it looks like a daisy!). Brenda is now currently resizing my Grannie's ring (she was tiny and I am an amazon) that I inherited when she passed away last year. I can't wait to see it next week! I've also purchased several stunning, one of a kind pieces for myself and as gifts. If they don't have it, they can get it for you! Brenda is very knowledgable about jewelry, has tons of books to look at and always has unique and trend setting items in the shop. If they wouldn't think I was weird, I'd go in once a week, just to look.... and drool! The staff is always very friendly and Gemma (the resident Labradoodle and security manager) is a sweetheart! I wouldn't go anywhere else! 11/13/14 just picked up my Grannie's ring that has been resized. It is AMAZING!!!! I made the comment that it is probably not a daily ring but Brenda assured me that I "could pull it off." Love this place and they will put items on your wish list which I did today..... hint hint husband! ;-) read more

My fiancé and I brought my engagement ring here to be sized. I am a hairdresser and sizing it for me was tricky because I didn't want it super tight, but also didn't want it slipping off during hair washes. Brenda took the time to help me settle in a 8 1/2 plus, so I didn't need to settle for a 8 3/4 or 8 1/2. I was so grateful for her patience as I am new to this jewelry thing and had a hard time choosing between one size and the next. Aside from the friendly staff, the pieces in the store are INCREDIBLE. Everything is so unique, from small beaded necklaces to the diamond tennis bracelets I didn't walk past anything I didn't want to take home with me. So excited to have them make me a wedding band! read more
