I needed to make a quick decision about someplace to live, and I toured Pine Brook Place and was…read moreimpressed, so I signed the paperwork and that was that. Soon after, my mother messaged me all these links with bad reviews about the community, which made me feel terrible about my decision. I am telling you right now: DO NOT LISTEN TO THOSE REVIEWS! When I moved in, my apartment was pristine. The office staff are SO friendly and helpful, and maintenance is practically on call. If I ever had an issue, they came same day or the next, with a smile on their faces. My building neighbors were friendly and kind people - always holding the door for people with groceries, saying hello, etc. - once I even got a jump for my car from a stranger down the hall. I didn't have any of the parking issues like others below - maybe it used to be a big problem, but they've fixed it in the years since. I know they tow people without parking stickers pretty frequently. Not one day has gone by that I haven't been able to park in a space right in front of my building. This is a FAMILY community - there are children and pets. I still remember seeing a review about "the neighbors' brats." It's not a loud place, but I can't help you if you hate the laughter of children. Children exist. Sometimes, they will walk down the hall. Overall, Pine Brook is a clean, relaxed, well-staffed place to live. Units are constantly being updated - my kitchen was a LITTLE old looking, and I was informed that it would be replaced upon my move out before the next person came in. I was sorry to have to leave - I got a job out of state - and I would recommend this community to anyone.

If I could rate them a zero star I would. Please take my advice and stay away from pine brook!!…read moreThis place is infested with mice, cockroaches, and mold. The Board of Health does nothing to help the tenants. Theres hardly any lighting in the parking lot that works around the property so it's very dark at night. Dog poop everywhere. Theres no cameras on site. Tenants cars have been broken into, stolen, cars left on cinderblocks. Laundry rooms are disgusting. Overall, dirty dirty.

Infested with cockroaches. We've been here a bit over a year. Soon after moving in, we discovered…read morethere's a cockroach infestation. Management refuses to treat whole buildings. Instead, they're only treating one apartment at a time (and only if you complain). Of course, not treating the whole building only serves to make the disgusting roaches scurry away to a neighbor's unit. Then they treat that unit, and they scurry over to the next. Then, they circle back around to me. And, there's plenty of renters who are about to be invaded next. It's beyond disgusting that Princeton Bradford is actively renting apartments with a known roach infestation. And for months have only been taking half-measures that have left us to live in these conditions. Which, by the way, is illegal. Massachusetts Tenant Rights clearly states: "Cockroaches and Rodents: The landlord must maintain the unit free from rodents, cockroaches, and insect infestation, if there are two or more apartments in the building." Don't assume you'll be "lucky" in any way and avoid the roaches. They breed quickly, squeeze through the tiniest of cracks/holes, use the walls here as their network, and are nearly impossible to exterminate in the cheapskate, haphazard way they are "treating" it. Since management doesn't deal with it as they should, we've been setting down traps and repellents for months, but the roaches keep coming. This is by far the worst issue, but also beware of skyrocketing rent (it goes up hundreds with each lease renewal), mold, and drug users. Sad when mold and drug use nearly becomes non-issues because of an ongoing cockroach infestation.

When I initially spoke to Maria she was extremely pleasant (first person I spoke to who was remotely nice over the phone) and seemed to genuinely WANTS to help us find a HOME. Even if the apartments weren't as nice as they are, Maria would have been able to get me into ANY apartment. You can tell she loves what she's doing. I look forward to residing here in August and am so grateful for Maria. She took all the stress away from finding a home while being so patient with me

At the worst possible time of year, ALL residents have been 'told' they must park at the MVRTA garage (a good distance away) while repairs are done at the on-site parking garage. Frigid temperatures, pitch dark at 4PM, a less than desirable neighborhood, impassable, icy sidewalks (you must walk in the street)(streets poorly cleaned - dangerous!). People have a multitude of things to carry: groceries, packages, children, pets and pray all can be done in 1 trip. Work was halted on the garage due to the frigid temps. It is truly unimaginable and speaks volumes as to the compassion of the new owners. And while we're at it, some 'updates' are also being done inside the building. Cheap carpeting, shoddy workmanship. Kudos!

I was told by management that I am being watched on the cameras, being clearly targeted. There's a problem every other day whether it's unfinished work done in your apartment, entering your apartment without permission, the police being here, the fire alarms sounding relentlessly, the dog area being filled with left waste, and dangerous items being left about such as glass and razor blades. Any unit with a balcony has a serious spider issue and they tow residents cars with no remorse. Have lived here since December 2020 and was promised a finished bar and restaurant April 2021, no progress has been made on these empty spaces. Save your headache and money and live elsewhere.

As well as the "however many months free upon arrival" -Random rent prices, (some 800sq/ft units pay more than those with 1200sq/ft) -The fire alarm goes off around an unbelievable amount of times, mostly during the night when we should be sleeping from 1-5am sometimes even 3-4 times in one night (it comes in spurts) -Management and building owner replies with sarcasm when you address issues with absolutely no accommodation. Pros: -The layout of the apartment is beautiful, with its many flaws.

Where should I even start? Let's start with packages. If you ordered something online, good luck. If you get your package, consider yourself lucky. Every single time I ordered a package, SOMEONE WOULD STEAL IT FROM ME. I was always on the phone with customer service and I always had to report my items stolen. There are some crazy people who live here. Every weekend when the people who work in management left, there were parties and the whole entire building wreaked of marijuana. The elevators were so disgusting. One time someone put a dead fish and crackers in the elevators as a joke. The elevators were so damn slow, smelled like disgusting and always had a mess inside. I always needed to take the stairs. At night people would tape up the security cameras so they wouldn't get caught doing god knows what. Around night time there were gang members around the back of the building or drug addicts. They would smoke cigarettes and block you from the door of your own apartment building. I had to park my car in the garage across the street and the people who worked SLEPT on the job. They would always be asleep on the desk. Many people who lived here were straight up shady. If you asked maintenance for something, they'd take weeks to come. I've had to call the cops multiple times when I lived here. My neighbors would fight each other and do all sorts of crazy stuff. The laundry room was disgusting. The basement was disgusting. The management would threaten to send me to court if my rent was even a day late even though I always payed on time. Latest I payed was 1 day. Literally just don't move here. These apartments have become a disaster. I was embarrassed to tell people I lived here. I thank god every day that I was able to move away from here.
