David and Leah, it's the dream team. These are the people who go to bat for you when you're up against someone you thought you could trust the most. The team at Jacks Law doesn't back down. From the very beginning, they fight for you. They put in countless hours helping you through some of the hardest moments of your life while doing everything they can to protect your family. What makes David, Leah, Jamie, and Rhett different is that they never make the process feel transactional. They are real people with lives and families of their own, and they genuinely care about the people they represent. David and Leah are out front in the line of fire, while Jamie and Rhett work tirelessly behind the scenes making sure everything is prepared and ready. Leah, David's paralegal, is someone you do not underestimate. She is incredibly sharp, relentless when it comes to uncovering the truth, and exceptionally good at what she does. At the same time, she understands how sensitive and difficult it is to have your entire life examined during a divorce or custody case. David may come across as calm, laid back, and collected, but in trial he becomes a fierce advocate. He doesn't rely on exaggeration or personal attacks. He sticks to the facts, presents the truth clearly, and lets it speak for itself. He is a family man who isn't just looking for a payday from a newly single client trying to make ends meet Divorce and family court are overwhelming. People can become dishonest, hurtful, and destructive, and unfortunately collateral damage often feels unavoidable. Through it all, Jacks Law does its best to protect the children involved and guide families through the process with professionalism and care. The best thing you can do is give them the opportunity to show you what they've shown me. Make the call. It's hard, and at times it will be scary, but they are a team you can trust. read more

Mr.Jacks is an amazing attorney. He is also a veteran. He helped me get my claim from 70% up to 100%. He is super kind and compassionate . I'm so happy I chose him as my attorney. He never gave up on me and my case. Cannot say enough about him. He is definitely the person you want in your corner if you are a Veteran and need help filing and getting good results from The VA. Thank you soooo much . read more

In mid February, I started looking for an organization that would assist me in filing a disability claim at the VA. The nature of the claim was somewhat complicated and quite detailed as it pertained to a severe medical condition associated with exposure to Agent Orange while serving in the Republic of Vietnam in 1962-1963. It seemed that every Veterans Disability Firm I contacted offered no help or assistance beyond information on where to find the forms to file the claim on my own. I soon became aware that any firm working on any initial claim to the VA by law cannot charge a fee to the veteran. A fee is only permitted if the firm does work for the veteran in the event that the claim would be denied by the VA. A friend suggested that I contact the Jacks Law Group and after setting up an appointment, I met with Mr. David Jacks and I explained the complexity of my claim and to my utter surprise, Mr. Jacks said: "I respect veterans for what they have done for our country. It would be an honor to assist you in the filing of your claim, obviously at no cost." He immediately started to fill out the necessary forms and an hour later my claim was electronically transmitted to the VA. I'm happy to say that sixty days later, I was informed that my claim had been approved by the VA with a 100% disability rating. I can only thank Mr. Jacks for his action in this case but beyond that, I must recognize his expertise when it comes to matters relating to veterans. You're in good hands with David Jacks....!! read more

When I called The Jack's Law Firm, Mr. Jacks asked when I could come in for a free consultation and was able to meet with me almost immediately. When I got there he spent hours discussing my case and looking over my paperwork. He gave me a realistic expectation of what was going to happen. We negotiated a price and set up payment arrangements after I made my initial deposit. When I left his office almost three hours after I got there it felt like the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders. He and his staff handled everything from beginning to end. They copied me on all emails, forwarded me all correspondence that was mailed out and answered my phone calls with the same urgency as they were made. The entire time I felt like a priority. When it came time to go to court David and Jamie showed up looking fantastic. They once again explained everything to me went over several key points and gave me the confidence I needed to walk into the courtroom that I was once terrified of. The two of them worked together to take notes and find any and all loopholes and wrong information of the testimony. Every single thing was so detailed and laid out I could not have done it better even though it was all happening to me, they knew my case inside and out. I was absolutely terrified of having to be cross-examined by my ex-husband. The entire time Jamie was looking at me and gave me the support of what you would expect from your sister or one of your closest friends and David was on point objecting where he needed to. I could not ask for a better trial team than these two. read more

Mr. Jack, Did both my cases at once for child custody and grandparent rights. We randomly got a referral for him from another law office that was full on clients, and We are so glad we did. He was there since the first day to the last and more. Anytime I needed to call him, he was there and answered. This was my first time with anything court related like this, and he made me feel much calmer. I'd worry, and ask him a million things and he'd answer all million and told me how it is, how it works and so forth. He got us exactly what we wanted from grandparent rights to the custody case (actually more then we expected, cause 1 phone call a week was much better then the 2 they normally get). The thing we loved was he was always honest and straight forward, he will tell you a apple is a apple, not make you think a apples a orange weather you like it or not and he is right, and keeps you in reality, and that's what you need when your using you hard earned money, you want it to go to something you know will be worth it verse a lawyer who will just Milk you for your money. We absolutely appreciate and loved having Mr. jack & if we need him again we will be back without a doubt. Thank you for all you did & always treating us like people & understanding. If your looking for family, or personal injury, he will get you the results. If you have questions he will do a consult and of any places I called I can tell you his was by far the best, he actually will look at your case and see & tell you which is also something that sold us of all 23 places he was the ONLY one to take a look and give a honest advice, like really out of his time and day not even knowing if we'd retain him, that there shows how much he cares for people and the big hearty he has! If you have any questions, call him! It's all worth it, trust me. THANK YOU AGAIN. read more

David and his team are always helpful and always willing to answer questions when they arise at any time! I highly recommend his services!

This firm is awful, no results just large bills. Basically incompetent, good luck if you hire them.

I'm giving 5 stars because after my boyfriend's consultation with Mr. Jacks, we both felt like he knew what he was doing and he really wanted to help us out. He was easy to get ahold of to make the appointment and once we got there, he answered all our questions thoroughly. His staff is friendly and office is very clean. I appreciate his honesty and how he walked through everything that might get throw at us and how he would defend it. He definitely took some weight off of our shoulders even though it was just a consultation, we felt more confident that everything we've done so far would pay off in the end. we only had a consultation but I'm sure at end, our experience will still be 5 stars and feel like Justice will finally be served. we did hire him for a hearing and can hope for the best! read more

Mr. Jacks has proven over and over to be a competent and winning family law attorney and clients ignore his advice to their own detriment. I have used his legal expertise for very difficult issues dealing with child custody here in Las Vegas and he has a way of convincing most attorneys and judges to see things his way. If he says he believes he can win or that you have a winning case, then he fights very hard to prove himself right. And if he thinks you have a weak or losing position, he fights even harder to prove himself wrong. This lawyer is a lion in the court. I've seen him stand up to judges when they are clearly wrong interpreting law and I have seen him remain silent and clutch his clients to keep them from speaking when he sees the judge is saying things that are going favorably. Not every lawyer is good for every client or case, and Mr. Jacks knows this and is quick to recommend others if he does not think his services will be effective. This is a rare quality. Frankly, we need many more divorce and child custody attorneys like David Jacks in the Las Vegas area. read more

Service was the worst I have ever heard of or experienced from a Lawyer. Big talk no results. They would put me on hold to start a timer to charge for every second of a phone call and they would both call within minutes of eachother and ask the same questions just to rack up the bill. I was told to send emails to him and his assistant which they would charge me for each of them to read the email. They lost paperwork that I had emailed them. I got nothing out of my experience other then a huge bill they never got me anywhere in my divorce and I was primarily worried about getting access to parental time with children and two months into it they had not done anything to make that happen. I have no idea how they are even in business. read more

This is a second review because I hired The Jacks a second time for another challenging trial with my Ex. I am still in awe of the staff. They had me work closely with his office team, Leah and Jamie, to keep my costs down. They are amazing. They know my case like the back of their hand. Communication is always easy and always very honest. This team is very caring and straight forward. I was never surprised because they always set realistic expectations for me. When it came time to go to court, we were looking at at minimum another year. Mr. Jacks sat down with my ex and I, and very patiently found a settlement that we could both agree on. He and I have not agreed on anything in about 10 years yet with his help we found something we are both satisfied with. I am still shocked this could happen at all. Mr. Jacks is my go to attorney! He has, in my opinion, absolutely amazing and has the best team working for him. They all do what is right for the client, even if it is not lining their pockets. Mr. Jacks could have easily agreed to go to another court/trial and increase his fees. He didn't. I would recommend this legal team again and again. If you have a hard situation and need someone who will tackle an issue, call them! read more

He is one of the most amazing lawyer I ever had the chance to deal with. My husband went thru an extremely bad divorce and child custody with his ex wife and David was able to get him the custody of his kids. I recommended him to friends and strongly would recommend to anyone that needs a good and honest lawyer. read more

Wow, let me start with from day 1. Called this law office and spoke to attorney David Jacks who gave me a lot of answers I was looking for then I came in for a consultation and this guy's is amazing. After all said and done we went to court and he got me the custody and the child support that was fair and it was exactly what I had asked for. I would recommend this man over and over again. Absolutely AMAZING!!!! and could not be any happier with how David handled my case. My case was transferred to David one month prior to my trial date and he got on it right away. David and I spoke on the phone for hours going over my case and the confidence he had made me feel like I could not lose this. He was very confident that he could settle this case before trial, he understood my timeline to move out of state and he also wanted to help save me thousands of dollars, and guess what, that is exactly what he did.David is extremely honest and thorough and will tell you what you need to hear and will not bs you. My ex and I do not get along, hence me having to hire David, but once David spoke to him, only one time, my ex was willing to settle with me. David is an extremely busy man, but every time I called or texted, he gave me his full attention as if I were his only client. I strongly recommend him and couldn't be any happier with him and his law firm. read more

I would suggest turning the other way if you happened to come across The Jacks Law Group. If you like to hear stories than this is the place to be! I will admit that he did get me a hearing for my divorce but failed to notify me of the date. As I was on the telephone for my first hearing, that Mr. Jacks thought he told me about , I could hear the opposing counsel making their demands for his client. Mr. Jacks didn't say anything in the court room to defend me in anyway, even when knowing the facts. All he had to do was speak up and say the facts to the judge. That's what he is getting paid to do. When I questioned Mr. Jacks about what had happened, that I want to appeal and why he didn't tell me about my hearing or even send a reminder as the date gets closer , he says that it is only temporary so nothing to worry about. Also the judge is right and there is nothing I can do about it. He'll also notify me of what I owe for child support and the amount I have to pay opposing attorney. A month later , I get a call from Mr. Jacks questioning me why I haven't paid the child support or the opposing attorney? I had to remind him , because you never told me what I owe, like you said you were going to do! This is the kind of service you will be receiving if you hire Mr. Jacks! He's nice and gives you answers you want to hear in the beginning, but when he is in court, he is in there with his tail between his legs..... read more

I was referred by another Attorney to The Jacks Law Group for review and hire to assist me in my ex-wife's pursuit for child support after more than 3 years following our divorce. They were very friendly and understanding of my situation and knew that I am a great Father and that my ex-wife needed money. Well. even though the judge was completely inappropriate conducting his courtroom and didn't allow me to speak, David was very nice and comforting through the whole process. He worked with me to get the best payment plan and was patient with getting his final payment. I recommend Mr. Jacks to assist anyone with Family Law issues they might have. I love this attorney!! Not only did he handle my divorce but he took care of my friend's traffic tickets that had gone into warrant - saved him THOUSANDS in fees and fines. He treats everyone like they are a person not a pay check. He's polite and courteous and does not act rude or snarky just to impress the judge or opposing counsel. He is very knowledgable about the law and the likely outcome of my case. He did not just tell me what I wanted to hear so that I would continue paying him but told me what would actually happen. I felt very comfortable trusting him with the future of my family. Although my divorce was finalized several years ago, my ex still continued to take me to court every 3 to 6 months for the last 6 years for anything he could think of, and situations that we had been to court for several times. This being the case, my divorce and child support case was a very extensive and complicated case for me, until Mr. Jacks finally stepped in to put an end to my ex's nonsense. Mr. Jacks spent several hours on getting to know the case. Because my case was so extensive, it required him to study it thoroughly, so he knew all the details. Mr. Jacks was very knowledgeable about the topics involved. He was very caring and compassionate of my feelings on the situation and kept me informed of everything that was going on. In court, Mr. Jacks was very straight forward to the point and was able to get the judge to see that my ex was taking me to court for reasons that were not granted and that the law was on my side. Mr. Jacks won my whole case and was able to finally put a stop to my ex's nonsense. read more
