As such, I was looking for a new Tax Guy. Michael Ludwig graciously took my mom and I on as new clients. He was extremely easy to work with, personable, and accommodated us for appointments that were convenient to our very limited schedule. Further, when I told him I was going to purchase a home soon and needed the tax documents for my pre-approval, he generated my taxes within a week. That was so appreciated! He filed them electronically that day. So, not only could I begin my home search, but I received my federal refund in under 10 days. Win-win. I appreciate Michael's willingness to take my mom and I on as new clients and for his timeliness and diligence! I'm happy to have a new Tax Guy - one who is easy to work with!

I had a very frustrating experience working with Ben as my accountant…read more I was not clearly informed that missing the October tax deadline would result in significant penalties, which left me facing an unexpected fine of over $7,000. In my experience, important deadlines and consequences were not communicated upfront, despite me relying on him for guidance. There was also an error on my 2024 tax return that led to a $300 IRS bill, which I provided to him when he prepared my 2025 taxes. Unfortunately, that issue was not addressed and has since gone into collections. Communication has been a major issue throughout. Emails often take three to four weeks for a response, and phone calls are rarely returned. I've also followed up multiple times regarding an email he said he would send to the IRS, but it was never completed despite repeated confirmation that it would be handled. Additionally, I was placed on an automatic IRS withdrawal plan that I did not knowingly authorize, and when I asked for clarification, I was told to look it up myself online rather than receiving assistance or resolution. Overall, I did not feel supported or properly informed, and the lack of responsiveness made an already stressful situation much worse. Based on my experience, I would not recommend his services

I wanted to take time to thank Tim Abbott for dealing with me and my wife as brand new clients. I…read moream a dentist and my accountant retired after using him for my business and personal taxes for 35 years. I reached out to a fellow dentist friend and he recommended Tim and his team. This year's taxes had a glitch on my part with a late k1 for some unknown reason ( never had an issue like this in 35 years ) but Tim was absolutely fantastic and patient with me asking so many questions. I was concerned because it was a big change for me and dentists (me) are not always great with change. We are creatures of habit. Add to the fact that I'm officially retiring this year and I wanted to make sure my taxes were taken care of. Looking back , Tim had our backs the whole time and assured us he would get things filed once we got this k1 and that's EXACTLY what he and his team did for us. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. If you need a team that will get the job done , look no further. I look forward to a long relationship with him like I did with our last accounting team. Thank you guys. Look no further if you want a professional who gets the job done , just call Tim ! Wish I could have given more than 5 stars .

I've been a customer of M J Vandenbroucke's for years, and have always experienced excellent customer service. I had a relatively complex return this year and it was completed in just a couple days. As a consultant, I had income in multiple states, each of which required a separate return. Not only was the service quick, but the team at M J Vandenbroucke took care of all of the paperwork, and returned it to me with dummy-proof instructions on how to finish processing. I highly recommend M J Vandenbroucke to anyone, particularly those looking to take the stress out of tax season.
