I hired Daniel to go to trial for me but he used my $5,000 retainer long before trial started, even though he said the retainer was enough for trial as well as the paperwork. He billed significantly more than the amount in my retainer without telling me until I received a bill. His staff was excruciatingly slow in answering my questions. It took months to finish my preliminary declaration of disclosure, which other lawyers say should only take about 4 hours for finances like mine. Then after he finished my paperwork, he accused me of not disclosing things which I had clearly disclosed. That made me realize having him represent me in court would be a mistake. I ended up going to court and representing myself. Daniel gave some of my money back after I presented the facts of my experience working with him and his staff.
