This review is long overdue, but everything in it will hold true as long as this gym is open…read more Whether you're reading it now or years from now, you'll want to work out here. With years of fitness experience and having owned a CrossFit gym, I can confidently say this place is for everyone--regardless of age, experience, or goals. From high level athletes, to people who have never worked out. From the young, to those experienced at life. There is a place for everyone. I came back to Sturgis CrossFit after several injuries and feeling disconnected from CrossFit. I started with the Wirk program, which was an incredible way to refocus on nutrition and health before stepping back into the gym. Be ready, though. Ready for a group of people who won't just take your money but will genuinely care about keeping you on track--whether that means helping with nutrition, mental health, or just showing up for you in ways you can't yet imagine. Not looking for deep connections? Just need a great workout? They've got you covered. But I dare you not to fall in love with the people, the coaches, and the community. This isn't just a gym. It's a place that changes everything--for your body, your mindset, and your life. Give them a chance, and they'll prove it.

An Amazing First Horseback Riding Experience! We came all…read morethe way from California and had never ridden horses before, so we honestly didn't know what to expect. We were a party of six, and from start to finish, we had an awesome time! Andy was a fantastic tour guide--friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and made everyone feel comfortable, especially those of us who were riding for the very first time. The horses were absolutely beautiful, and the scenery and landscape were incredible. Everything was so peaceful and relaxing. One of the highlights was getting to see deer running around in the beautiful surroundings. It was truly an experience we'll never forget. We highly recommend Andy's Trail Rides to anyone looking for a fun, peaceful, and memorable horseback riding experience. Thank you, Andy, for such a great time! When we come back to the area, we will definitely visit again! 5 stars all the way!

We did a platter with sausage, ribs, brisket and pork and it was all delicious. Sides were outstanding. The next night for dinner my two boys split the filet and devoured it! We ordered a number of the appetizers and they were all delicious but the standout was the Philly cheese steak egg roll for my husband and the crab cake for me. Do NOT leave without dessert. The bread pudding and pecan pie were 10/10. No notes. Lastly, we sat outside on the green and it was so cozy. Kids watched World Cup games and played corn hole. Do not miss this restaurant! The…read moreuphill really worked the muscles after the falls trails "warm up" - the walk back to the Savoy trailhead was a great way to cool down. Located across the street from the lodge, watch for the sign... trailhead doesn't have a parking area- park in 1 of the lots across the street, or at Savoy trailhead, if you want to add a mile ea way of easy walking on a sunny, paved trail. The view from the top is lovely but, for me, this one was all about the climb & the sendory fulfillment the trail brought with it. The scent of pine, the warm air with a slight breeze & plenty of shade to protect you from direct sunlight. It wasn't heavily populated. There are ample rest areas and signs to warn you what you're in for. I've only included pictures from the 76 Trail. Ss mentioned, it's next to the falls trails as well (See Savoy Trailhead & Roughlock Falls) - if knocking of the 76 Trail, I suggest a trek to 1 set of falls pre and the other post - these trails are located to the left of the restaurant and behind the lodge, over the foot bridge. Each is in the -mile range.

The atmosphere was cozy, service was excellent and the food was delicious. The grilled cheese sandwich was larger enough for two, the chicken fried steak will add 5lbs to your belt line, the club was flavorful, French Dip was dripping with melty cheese and debris, and the calamity sandwich was excellent, really enjoyed the added flavors brought in with the use of green chili's to the spread. Warmed up next to the fireplace with a nice cup of hot chocolate before heading back onto the trails. A must stop if your out riding in the hills!
