The stores pricing is on par with farmers markets you would find in downtown Sanford, Longwood, or Deltona. The beefsteak tomatoes, fresh beets, and acorn squash looked amazing and are some of the largest I have seen around. The store is clean and organized. There was one staff member working at the register when we arrived and she was very nice with me when I was checking out. I will definitely stop back for more of that dried mango and some of their other vegetables next time I'm in the area.

There are acres of blueberries growing in neat rows, and they're full of fruit. You enter the farm, park in a grassy field, grab a bucket at a table by the orchard, and head out to pick. The helpful people who give you the buckets tell you a bit about the varieties that they grow, and about the colored streamers on each row that tell you which variety is growing there. Here in Central Florida it gets hot early in the year, so the plants fruit early. What's comfy for the plants is comfy for us, so picking is usually in great weather. When you've finished picking enough, you take the bucket back to the table and pay for what you picked. By comparison, what costs you $8 at a store like Walmart costs you $6 at Beck Brothers farm. So go now, or plan for next April, and get enough blueberries to make your jam, your ice cream, your muffins and pies. Freeze the excess and you'll always be ready to eat the berries that your family and friends picked on a lovely Spring day.

They have several refrigerator coolers as well, where you can get herbs and lettuces. There are some locally made goods as well, local honey, barbecue and hot sauces, etc. The people are knowledgeable, kind and wildly efficient. The most amazing thing is their prices. The cauliflower is at least twice as large as what's sold at the grocery store; it tastes ten times better, and costs half. I have doubled the amount of vegetables we're eating weekly for less than I would have spent at the grocery store, and it tastes so good! Driving out each weekend has become a little ritual for me. I slow down, enjoy the drive, select wholesome, fresh for the week, and most weeks I get to see one of the farmers there unloading fresh veggies from their tractor and I get to thank someone who is integral to feeding my family. I'm sad when my schedule occasionally doesn't permit me to go. Good to know: bring cash, they don't accept cards. There is an ATM onsite, but course there is always a fee for using standalone machines. Such a special place, I wish them everything good.
