There`s a huge selection of products and what you don`t see neatly displayed on the shelves can be ordered from the enormous selection of products from the Home Hardware catalogue. The store keeps up its long-standing tradition of instant service in its new location. In the old days, at the old and very small store on Simcoe Avenue, I could walk in for something like a fuse and it would be in my hands in minutes. Several weeks ago, on a quest for a thermostat at the new Queensway store, I received the exact same speed of service. Super-friendly, super-fast: obviously I`m taken with this store. And when you`re always hunting for a deal like I am, it`s good to know that they have a better and more affordable selection of products than any of their competitors in town.

Had to carry the bags back up from my clean and empty basement all through my house dropping maggots everywhere to bring it to the garage. Called the store, head office and left messages - nothing. Showed up to their store and they assured me that someone was going to come next morning to pick it up- no call and no show. Now my garage is crawling with them. We're not talking about a couple. You kick the bags and they are just falling out. There was also some in the stack of drywall that was shrink wrapped and dropped in the driveway. Also was 10 sheets of drywall short.

I called the owner three times, the office twice and was told the tech had issues with parts (not mine obviously). He was 1.5 hrs late, screwed up my whole day for work and never even got a sorry. He then installed the switch. 45 min job (he was a nice guy, did a reasonable job). Tested and all in, including cleaning up, chatting at the front door (where he called me a nice person) and sitting in my driveway 10 minutes was not even 1.5 hrs on site. Then I get a 400 dollar bill, for 2 hours labor and 100 bucks for travel and diagnostic (never disclosed to me). It's obviously a fraudulent bill, the tech wasn't even on property for long not even close. I emailed with with these concerns- Justin left a nasty voice message, said he would tell everyone around I had no intention of paying his bill from the start (which btw I never said I wasn't going to pay, I disputed the obvious fraudulent nature of the total which he had opportunity to discuss- he chose not to). He clearly doesn't understand legal defamation. Clearly a shady, fraudulent business with a man with zero business or people skills. There is literally zero chance the 100% 5 star reviews are legit. They have got a great selection of local artisans and vendors, so you are supporting the community while finding unique gifts. The market had a variety of vendors selling all sorts of goodies - bakery goods, herbal tea, homemade soap, candles... it was a treasure! You could smell the delicious treats wafting through the air and see the beautiful handmade crafts on display. On the other side of the greenhouse, they had lovely live trees on sale, perfect for picking out the perfect Christmas tree. And on another side, they had all sorts of gorgeous Christmas decorations to get you in the holiday spirit. The best part? Admission is FREE! It is an amazing activity for anyone, and you can shop 'til you drop but it is slightly pricey $$ fortunately there are some sales for Christmas decor. The greenhouse transforms into a winter wonderland, complete with cozy vibes and festive décor (check out my pics and videos). It is perfect for getting into the holiday spirit with family and friends. My parner and I went because we were looking for a fun, festive, and free holiday activity, you should totally check it out. The market runs every Saturday and Sunday until December 7, so do not miss the last weekend.
