It has a little bit of everything for everyone. AAC is actually two shops in one. It looks like they may have been separate at one time, but are now connected. Shirts: There were a good variety of shirts that were Colorado themed or for specific local attractions. Their shirts were much cheaper than the ones for sale at the local attractions. When we walked in, we were not greeted; the young, brown haired millennial at the register just sat there with her phone in her hand. Obviously it was more important than the customers. Several people walked in and out while we were there and she did not look up once to say hello or do anything. One couple wanted to buy some items but when they walked up to the cashier, they still weren't spoken to and the girl never looked up so they put the items back they wanted tp purchase and walked out. We wanted to purchase some items too - I really liked the cute succulent/cacti soap but didn't feel like dealing with the young lady at the register. We walked out too and were not given any type of greeting as we left like all the other stores did that we walked in to that day. I love this little town that you will find right outside of Colorado Springs. It is an historic…read moretown and has an old town feel. It was founded in 1872 and was intended to be a"scenic health resort". They have a tourist strip in the center with a bunch of shops and restaurants. Most of the parking in the town is metered either on the street or commercial lots. You my luck out and find a place that has free private parking. Some of the attractions in the town or nearby include the Cave of the winds, the Manitou Incline, a bunch of public parks, The Garden of the Gods, the Red Rocks Open Space, Pikes Peak, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, and the Miramont Castle. A unique thing about this place is that you will find water springs all around the city where you can get water directly from. Most of them have different tastes, some of which taste like seltzer. It is still pretty neat though and the water is rumored to have healing powers. This town does have a bit of a homeless issues, but not as bad as major cities. The town is relatively clean and well maintained. I really enjoyed my stay in the tourist town. Between here and neighboring Colorado Springs, there is so much to do. I highly recommend checking it out and/or making this place your next vacation destination.
