Went here last night and it was pretty busy!! The wait time for the 8-9 spot was long. They have…read morerules about arriving at your designated time no more than 10 minutes early, 10 minutes late but it honestly doesn't matter, because all general admission had to stand in the same line. Fast pass was $10 more...ultimately that extra 10 was worth saving me the amount of time I would have wasted standing there to wait to get in. Each house takes about 5 minutes to get through and there are only 3. You're waiting longer to get IN each house, than you are to actually go through them. So that's a tad unsatisfying. We had been waiting...about 20-30 minutes to get into the houses before we decided to get the fast pass. Literally no one was paying for fast pass so we were able to just go right in. Getting the fast pass guarantees you go first. Which causes the wait time for general admission to be longer, because they stagger YOUR group. Literally no one is wearing masks nor are they social distancing, so go at your own risk. But! They also don't make you go in with strangers! You might run into people depending on how long it takes you and them to walk through. I tended to take longer because I'd stop walking if I got scared. Unlike THHE (the Hills Have Eyes), this place offered a few carnival-like games and seemed to have food. I mean literally no one was playing the games, eating or drinking though. I'm on the fence about how to rate this place. I'll say this, this one was just as expensive as the THHE and had less to offer, so that's a no-thank-you. But it was only just as expensive because we ultimately found it worth it to pay more to save time with the fast pass. Time is precious! We would have been waiting over an hour just to get through 3 houses that only take 5 minutes to walk through. I will say this though!!!; WF was scarier than THHE, just IMO. But like, kudos to WF because the last haunted/scary house of WF had almost no one working in it. It was PITCH black, with a light flickering on so often. And it was maze like. So I was already scared going in because I had no idea what to expect in the dark. I actually enjoyed that aspect, although my friend thought it was lame that no one was even there to jump out and scare you. Finding this place was easy and parking was straightforward. I don't think the experience was worth the price, however I can't be that mad because I had fun and that was the goal.

Three different haunts that you get to go through each one more fun and at times scarier than the next. They have added fun stuff that you can buy and concessions in the last year or so and I think that is a great added feature to browse while you wait. From people in the lines scaring you all the way through to the end very entertaining and a scary good time.

I say…read moreskip the extra $5 because if you watch others for even a few minutes you will see it's pretty lame. So $30 for 3 houses? It's really more like two attractions because in one of the buildings (Ambush) there is no real pause or reset before you continue on into (Hysteria) Three houses is just false advertising. Just charge what you're going to charge. Be prepared to wait 1-2 hours in line if you get there after 8 p.m. and don't pay the extra $10 on top of the $30 to obtain a "fast pass". There are a number of spooks interacting with the crowd while you wait as well as a large screen showing different videos and comical clips. It's not a terrible wait if you have the time and are with the right group of people. They do sell beer ($6 a can), soda ($3 a bottle) and other snacks to help pass the time. We went with a group of 11 people, which I already thought was too large a group to really enjoy the fear experience. The staff ushered people into the house in groups of about 20 at a time. I get it, trying to get the masses through but that size group just killed the entire experience. There was no way the spooks could reset from the start of the group to the rear of the pack and anyone not in the front completely lost out on the spook jumping out or the dialogue they had to share about their scene. There were plenty of actors and they all seemed to be actively involved in their respective role. It was just grossly disappointing that for $30 they ushered us through like cattle rather than getting a true scare experience. We enjoyed the cornfield experience more so than the "2" houses. This was so because when we got into the field we stopped and waited for the mass group to get well ahead of us. When we proceeded it was like we were our own little group of 4 at that point. The spooks were all reset by the time we went through and we were recipients of a few pretty good scares.

Every year I go, there are updates and new areas in the haunted house, and returning favorite parts of the house. The haunters inside are always top notch and on point with their scares, and there are no "dead rooms" without ghouls inside them, all are full of them ready to scare you! The house will take around 45 mins-1 hour to get through completely if you're going at an average pace/slow pace, and the most unique room in the haunt in my opinion is "Buried Alive" - I won't spoil it for you if you've never been, but it's an extreme simulation room that makes you lay down and experience being "buried alive" - not recommended if you're claustrophobic - you have the option to bypass this final room at the end of the haunt! If you're a thrill seeker, you will love it. All of the other workers like security, ticket booth cashiers and gift shop employees are all fantastic as well. If you're doing one haunted house during Halloween, this is the one to go to, you won't regret it. PS - if you like their regular season haunted house, try Blackout in November for a pitch black experience of the house in the dark, or Sub-Thermal Nightmare in December for a winter layover of the house.
