For the 4% of you who are musicians this should be useful, and for the rest, I am going to have to really work on the funny, cool angle. My husband is a violinist, and he recently received a call to record a track with a smooth jazz artist. Yes: SJ. My husband isn't really known for SJ, but he can smooth it up with the best of them when needed. We went to Odds On to record the track. It is a beautiful studio with some great rooms, and although my husband was expecting to record in the small room, he ended up in one of the big rooms because the diminutive room was having some technical issues. Apparently, Joshua Bell recorded in the same large room a couple of weeks ago. The session was easy. The engineer was friendly. The computer did crash once or twice, but no big deal as everything had been saved. They were happy to work with the budget we had. In the end, we ended up with some smooth violin jazz to share with the world. In case you're curious the track is Jamiroquai's "Virtual Insanity". Too bad Yelp doesn't let you share Mp3s. read more

I originally hired Kane to do a remix of my song Glory, and the remix he did was so effing awesome I immediately turned around and hired him to do two more (both of which lived up to the very high standard the first one set).
