There is a small parking lot in front and some street parking around the venue. If you get there early, you can snag a spot there in front. We scored one. Just inside the front doors is a small lobby with a bar that serves a few options for beer, wine, mixed drinks, sodas, and water, along with a few snack options. The bartender was friendly and took care of us quickly. The venue is through another set of doors and seats about 200-250 people. With that size, there isn't a bad seat in the house. We were in the back row of seats and were still only about 100 feet from the stage, if that. There is also a section of bleacher-type seating in the very back. The sound and lighting system were excellent. There is also a room in the back that they use for meet and greets. Again, small bar serving drinks. They also had a charcuterie table set up. I don't know if that was specific to the artist performing that night or a typical offering, but the spread was very nice, offering decorative cups with a small variety of meats and cheeses, along with salted caramel chocolate. There was no sales pitch whatsoever, just an honest and transparent explanation of how he teaches, what the student can expect, and how parents can support the process. My teen had his first lesson in Lio's home studio last week. Cloud nine does not begin to describe the experience for him! His self-taught skills were validated, he learned so much in just two hours, and came home to "remix" his original creations. He has a second session scheduled with Lio next month and cannot wait. The dance floor is free of columns, except for a few near the entrance. Some of the tiles on the dance floor have protruding corners which sometimes catch your shoes while dancing. So, these need to be fixed. The studio is cold during winter due to a lack of indoor heating, combined with cold air that enters each time the entrance door is opened. This is resolved by wearing a long-sleeve shirt or light coat. Once warmed up from dancing, a short-sleeve shirt is fine.

Having JUST moved from NYC, my belongings and recording studio soundproofing stuffs haven't all been delivered yet... and yet my voiceover clients were chomping at the bit... and I was losing sleep and hair, stressing out because my usually-within-24-hours-and-normally-far-less turnaround time has come to an agonizing, screeching halt. You see, due to Covid, commercial production worldwide has slowed: plywood, ketchup, chlorine pool tablets -- AND my soundproofing materials!! They won't be delivered for another 10-12 weeks-- eeek!! I decided it was time to take action... and search around for a recording studio to save me from VO purgatory. Enter Adrenaline Studios: 3 min away from my new home! Flexible scheduling, understanding staff, snazzy studios-- I even kidded that they looked like NASA compared to MY home recording studio! Jesus and Tony were my supportive audio engineers... and man, you couldn't get a more knowledgeable, intuitive and helpful duo! You see, I've been recording, editing, and mastering my own files for 20 years... its REALLY DIFFICULT to relinquish control... but I'm GLAD I did!! These guys have clocked far more experience and education than I ever will have (heck-- I know where they went to school-- and those are GREAT schools!)... and I chose to see this entire opportunity as a learning experience. If you need to record a radio, TV or internet commercial, this is a great place to do it. They have a deep well of talent available to record too. They can handle all types of projects.
