We have been trying to get my dads heart issue resolved for quite some time now. It is impossible to communicate with this group. Been to ER 8 times and never see his actual cardiologists. Then to add salt to the wound, we come in and I take off all day again and here I sit six hours later after being told we are doing another cardio version to find out nothing has been scheduled and waiting to hear from the cardiologist. This is unacceptable. Last year was going to release him and he said no I need to find out what is wrong, took him to cath lab and he needed three stents. What if we would have went home? I am disgusted at the service. read more

History

Established in 1972.

The roots of The Heart Group date back to the late 1960's and early 1970's when several cardiologists started practicing in the Tri-State region independently. In 1989, Tri-State Cardiology Consultants and Evansville Cardiology Associates merged their practices to form The Heart Group, PC. We are the largest cardiovascular practice in the Tri-State region, currently employing 14 cardiologists, 3 electrophysiologists, 1 vascular surgeon, 3 cardiovascular surgeons, 3 nurse practitioners and 4 physician assistants. The Heart Group is the Tri-State's only practice that has accreditations in all three types of testing: echocardiography, nuclear imaging, and vascular imaging.
