This is the BEST head shop in town. They have a great selection of glass, dry herb and wax pens and everything else you need. They are family owned and operated and everyone there is extremely helpful. Whenever we get customers at our shop, Cal State Vape, asking for glass we send them to The Head Shop! They're on the backside of the building. If the sign says "Royal Vape" you're in the wrong place. read more

Typical glass pipe shop. Honestly disappointed in the inventory, not much that grabbed my eye personally. Not enough selection in pink. I knew what size pipe I wanted and when I walked in I was greeted, and the man started asking me some questions about what I was looking for and I was answering him but then he kind of just left on my own. I thought he was asking me questions to help me lol but ok watch TV. Whateves, I guess business must be that good. Then I picked a pipe and was almost rushed out. Idk maybe the guy had to go to the bathroom really bad or something. The turtle was pretty cool. read more

Wow with all of the smoke shops in CA you would think all the small time,over priced shops would be ran out of town.You quickly find out how wrong you are as soon as you step in to this shop.Chinese glass for the price of name brand pieces..fake name brand pieces,a few decent handpipes but nothing to write home about.I've been going up and down the coast collecting glass this year and this was the first shop I found nothing to take home with me.Avoid this shop if you like nice American glass! read more

We opened our doors in 1993. Took over the shop next to us in 2010 to expand square footage. Took down a wall in 2013 to almost double in size. Thank You to all our loyal customers over the years, making this possible.

Couldn't figure out how to even get into the building. Every town needs a good one..... I'm talking about a proper "Head Shop", not another so called "smoke shop"(discount cig store with half-a-million crumby lighters, 6ft neon green bazooka-bong, and 2 or 3 propylene Shishas). For the past 25yrs SM has been blessed with a top notch, specialized vendor, responsibly committed to serving the culture... From the genuine, friendly, greet at the door, to the vast array of quality goods(and helpful knowledge of those goods) Santa Maria HAS it's proper Head Shop... Go with fresh, and rested eyes to browse the showroom, and you'll see what I mean. One valuable tip for "virgin" Head-shoppers....... Take the time to review, contemplate, and re-configure the contents of your wallet prior to the shopping trip. The wisdom is simple, but golden. you'll know the truth of it by the time you return home... Here it tiz.. Review= survey, and sum ALL forms of legal currency contained in said wallet. Contemplate= stop, and think bout what you need for bills, debts, etc... Now physically REMOVE that amount. Then remove all credit/debit. Re-configure= Finally, unfold/crumple, flatten, and return what remains of your hard-earned lettuce to the wallet and go! What's golden, is this. You don't have it, you can't spend it! See? Cause what you want, what you're low on, that you really need, and the thing you didn't even know exists, is there... It's all there! hehehe this is one of the main factors as to why this is THE shop. Even with todays booming lung-count, the HS invests 2x that of other places in a crazy diverse inventory. As you can see, I'm thoroughly impressed by this place/these people. I'm not a weekly, or even a monthly..... However, I will be a "regular". the guy here is a life long twacked out dooshe who sells meth pipes with Bob Marleys face on it. distasteful and disgraceful to my brethren and I of Rastafari. when i told him i was Rasta he said "that doesn't mean shit to me." and referred openly in the shop to them as tweak pipes. which i believe is technically illegal for him to say that in his own shop.... unless he wants to be known as a meth peraphenelia distributor amongst the Santa Maria community. spoiled doesn't even deserve that shit shop he has. moral of the story is be respectful of others religion.... or your just a prejudice bigget with unjustified self opinion of your self. and believe me dude, your shop is by far from being even the best glass store in town. all your crap sucks bro. the few overpriced name brand items are the only decent products, but your still buying that guy lunch with every purchase. sometimes can be extremely overpriced. please don't refer to your Chinese mass produced sweat shop bongs as Ferraris. that just made you sound like your not too bright. plus if you have ever been to business school you would know that you can't buy a sticker put it on something and sell it. you are illegally reselling other people's products. you can do that on your own pieces. you can't sell someone else's artwork.... and especially should never be so disrespectful to an iconic prophet of reggae. you just showed your true colors read more
