Specialties
The Harvest Method is a carefully curated team of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists providing personalized functional and integrative nutrition therapy via secure telehealth across the United States.
Our dietitians hold advanced training and certifications in functional and integrative medicine, behavioral health nutrition, eating disorder treatment, food psychology, and evidence-based approaches including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). We combine medical nutrition therapy with mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness skills to support whole-person health—physical and mental.
At The Harvest Method, care goes beyond education. We emphasize coaching, skill-building, and practical implementation so changes are sustainable and aligned with real life.
Our work is grounded in four pillars: self-knowledge, self-care, self-trust, and self-respect, guiding individualized, balanced plans that honor both clinical needs and lived experience.
We support clients with weight management, eating disorders, adolescent and young adult nutrition, pre-, peri-, and post-natal care, pediatric nutrition, oncology support, gastrointestinal conditions (including IBS and IBD), and stress- and anxiety-related concerns.
Each client is thoughtfully matched with the dietitian best suited to their needs. Services are provided via telehealth. We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare, and also accept HSA and self-pay.
History
Established in 2013.
The Harvest Method was founded by Rachel, a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition from NYU, after years of working in both clinical and private practice settings. She saw that many clients were given nutrition advice but not the behavioral tools, emotional support, or practical structure needed to implement lasting change.
What began as a solo practice rooted in functional nutrition and behavioral therapy evolved into a carefully curated team model. The Harvest Method was built to bridge the gap between medical nutrition therapy and real-life application—integrating evidence-based science, mindfulness, and skill-building to support sustainable, whole-person healing.
Meet the Business Owner: Rachel H.
The Harvest Method is led by founder Rachel, a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and advanced training in functional and integrative medicine, behavioral health nutrition, and eating disorder treatment. Her clinical foundation includes training in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), food psychology, and behavior change science.
Rachel began her career in clinical settings but recognized a gap: patients were given nutrition prescriptions without the behavioral tools, emotional support, and accountability required for lasting change. She built The Harvest Method to bridge that gap—combining medical nutrition therapy with coaching, skill-building, and structured implementation.
As both a clinician and entrepreneur, Rachel is committed to excellence and integrity. She leads with high standards and warmth—ensuring every client receives individualized care grounded in self-knowledge, self-trust, and long-term sustainability.
