Only about a couple of dozen other people there when we arrived at 9pm so plenty of room and no problem finding a seat. Half the people there around a table in the conservatory area playing cards and that looked like fun. Would best describe this as an old traditional pub with low beamed ceilings and picturesque little windows. Well worn, lived in look to the place made it feel homely. No piped music either which was nice change. Good draught selection and wine for the ladies came in 30ml mini bottles which was nice and not to expensive either. The fact that it was so quiet on a Friday is a bit ominous and probably a reflection of the times so don't expect it to be around for long which would be a shame.
