The Harrington is old so low ceilings, narrow passageways. Staff are friendly and hard working. The menu is diverse and creative. The two small dish items I had were well executed. Good value for money. The parking is behind the pub and the road surface is rough. There are no designated parking for disabled. A large truck blocks the rear entrance, I guess they use this for bands on the weekend. Small outside garden with a mixture of of the horrible wood and bench seat attached. There is some the seating that I snot so hard and uncomfortable but they go quick. There is a steep uneven pathway up to the pub itself. This place was busy even on a Saturday lunch I would recommend but not for disabled or elderly people. read more

This pub is off the main road and is a great find. They are friendly and small but offer a good range of real ale and a traditional food menu. be sure to book on a sunday as they get very busy. The cajun chicken is the best ive ever had and must be tried. A small beer garden outside. Thulston is very close to Elvaston castle, a nice walk. The harrington arms is the best place to go for a drink and a meal after youve walked throught he beautiful grounds of elvaston castle. read more

This is a very nice, reasonably priced pub/restaurant. I went for Sunday dinner with my family and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was good considering the price and it was a very lovely atmosphere, I enjoyed it very much. read more

This place is great. The food is excellent and the bar staff are really friendly. You can park here and if you ask they will tell you how to get to Elvaston Castle in a few minutes without having to pay Derby City Council for parking. Loads of Real Ale and they will even get a special brew in if you talk to the landlord. read more

I went there last Sunday for dinner with my family and found this (being my first) not so great. The waitress who initially served us...rather periodically...was not friendly nor punctual at all. Maybe its down to her age, being young, but it made me and my family feel rather unsatisfied. I've heard and read really good reviews of this establishment, but I'm not sure if I would ever return, and maybe not on a Sunday. read more
