Our wedding has been hailed "the best…read morewedding I've ever been to" by over six of our friends (not to even make note of the family who left stunned, laughing, speaking nonstop about it). Carmen is incredibly organized, almost shockingly responsive (calls me back within seconds even when it's a small thing) and to say Carlos understood the assignment is an understatement. Our wedding was during the day at Barcelona Wine Bar and EVERYONE WAS DANCING. Their photobooth!! is also beyond amazing and not only does it do gifs, videos, and prints, but you get a digital link to every single image. The care that they took, the intention, and the life and love injected were immeasurable. I would recommend them over and over again.

They were extremely responsive and there was no request they couldn't meet. They made us feel so prepared and they were just as excited to be at our wedding as we were. They played the best mix of songs and had everyone dancing the entire time! Their energy was noted by all of our guests who had nothing but great things to say. If you're looking to have a fun time with a DJ who keeps you and your guests dancing, look no further! We can not recommend them enough and can not wait to work with them again in the future!!

When searching for a DJ for our wedding, I'll admit, we had some challenging requirements. Chief…read moreamongst which, is that our DJ was fluent in Polish and be familiar with certain cultural wedding traditions, as the bride's family is largely native Polish speakers. DJ Tommy Sands was our guy. When we first met with DJ Tommy, it was clear he was much different from the other DJs we'd met in the past. He had a great sense of timing events surrounding the wedding, and how to make things run smoothly. I'll never forget when he gave us a tip saying that no matter how much he encouraged people to dance, we as the wedding couple needed to lead by example. Boy was he right!! Whenever we danced, the floors filled, and it was hilarious to observe the effect. Throughout the night, DJ Tommy would show to be our guiding light. When times were a bit off from the schedule, he made thoughtful and insightful suggestions on how to shift things around and keep things running smoothly. His calm and positive attitude helped *us* remain calm and positive. He even managed to help us avoid the bride's mother who was being particularly difficult at times!

Let me start by saying that Marx Entertainment provided both DJ services and Photo Booth services…read morefor our wedding. We were very unhappy with the DJ but happy with the Photo Booth set up and staff. My husband and I had DJ Craig for our wedding in September 2023. We had two meetings with him beforehand were we discussed how we would like the night to run. In addition to a list of "must-play" songs (something we were encouraged to complete), we discussed how we would like our table-dash, anniversary dance, alumni photo, and private dance to operate. We also noted on multiple occasions during both calls that we DID NOT want a lot of remixes. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with how DJ Craig managed all of these aspects except for the table dash and private dance. Here is where our issues lie: - Out of our 30 or so must play songs maybe half were played. - As laid out on the Marx Entertainment website we chose a "last song" for the dance floor. DJ Craig played the song we designated as our last song as a way to open the dance floor. - The first 30 minutes were exclusively remixes and bad ones at that. It got to the point where we said something to DJ Craig, and while the music did get better, he still continued to play remixes. Honestly, a Spotify playlist would have been better. - The anniversary dance was something DJ Craig suggested and we loved the idea. However, instead of doing what he had described to us where he starts calling people off the dance floor after some dancing and starting with short time increments, DJ Craig called for anyone married for less than 5 years to leave the dance floor after approximately 20 seconds. People hadn't even REACHED the dance floor to start dancing at that point, including the parents of the groom. Not to mention we are a young couple and that kicked more than half of the people off the dance floor in one sweep. - College alumni photo was announced at a very weird time and very rushed. Just felt awkward - We were immediately asked once the lights turned on to provide a positive video review for DJ Craig. This was extremely uncomfortable and we gave dishonest feedback during it. We would NOT recommend him. Like I said previously, the Photo Booth staff was excellent and we loved the book they made us. We also had no issues with booking or prior communication with Marx. While the set up and logistical execution of the event went well we didn't feel our opinions were considered at all in song selection and that the fun mini-events we had throughout the night went poorly

I owned an event planning company for a decade. I have VERY high expectations for events and those…read morewho plan them. I usually find myself at events whispering to the person next to me about little things I see that aren't perfect or that I would have done differently. I recently found myself at an event produced by Regina and the Rise Events team at Ohana School of Dance for Ashley Kohl. I stood back and watched... ready to comment. I was surprised to be a bit in awe because I find it hard to have my expectations met when it comes to event production, but there she was "a mini-me" (which I hope she takes as a compliment). That event wasn't a fluke because she was involved in the Chris Thibault Carwash at Mercedes-Benz and I have to say... she is a true event guru. Regina has become a trusted confidant and someone I feel more than capable to recommend to clients I have previously worked with who are in need of event assistance. Regina is truly outstanding. Her passion for events and attention to detail are amazing. She is creative, has out-of-the box ideas, has an impeccable eye for the little things that many other event planners miss, is a tremendous décor creator and SO much more.
