I was looking into this company for my kids to have an activity to do afterschool. Carlee and Tyler were really nice. They went over and beyond with their business. Tyler was really knowledgeable with working with prosthetics. My daughter who is 8 was born with one arm, so some things may come to be a little harder for her. She is very good at figuring things out for herself. He was so engaged with her learning how to play the violin that he suggested a bow attachment that will make it easier for her to play. Also Carlee was able to work with my 16 year old autistic daughter who is high functioning. She was able to get her to open up and be excited to learn the guitar. They are very nice and I am excited to work with them. If I could give them 10 stars I would! I would highly recommend them! read more

Specialties

Our business specializes in the experience of the guitarist as well as for the family. There are two owners of The Guitar Vault. Tyler and Karly both are Oklahoma Baptist University Alumni. Tyler is a advanced guitarist and retired from the Marine Corps. Karly is a beginner guitarist and has 15 years in customer service. This is a great combo when opening a store that specializes in customer service and guitar quality. We look forward to seeing you soon!

History

Established in 2020.

We opened as people where coming out of quarantine. We began with a few used guitars, a couple of accessory options, and a huge lounge for lessons. We have exploded from there. Come check us out to see!

Meet the Business Owner: Tyler K.

Tyler began his music career at the age of 7 playing guitar and creating his own lyrics. He was gigging in worship bands at the age of 12 and was playing in nursing homes. He played in school and was known as the “guy with a guitar”. He served in the Marine Corps until he was injured and now lives with a disability. This hasn’t stopped him from playing and gigging. He graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with his bachelor’s degree in History and a minor in Business. Tyler now is the owner and operator of The Guitar Vault in Shawnee, OK.
