We called around to a few places and we chose clean and dry because they had great reviews, we wanted to support a local business, and they offered a military discount. Even with the discount, they were a little more than some of their competitors, but based on everything else we decided to give them a chance. I called and got a quote from Kathy (who is extremely nice and helpful). When I called back to schedule, there was some confusion on the original quote not including a hallway we had discussed so she said she would include the hallway at no cost. The owner, Stacy, showed up to our home, and as we were doing the walkthrough I mentioned the hallway and confusion. He said that he heard the phone calls, agreed they were confusing, and said it's normally 30 for the hallway but he would do it for free if we wanted him to. I agreed since that was what we were quoted, and he said, "You know what, I don't want to do any of it." When I asked what he meant, he said he doesn't work for free and said he was leaving. I was confused since he offered to do it for free, but he walked out. I don't know if he was in a bad mood already, but that is terrible customer service and he was extremely rude to my wife and I. There were so many other ways to handle the situation. My wife and I had moved all of our stuff out of the rooms and had our kids sleep downstairs so he would have plenty of room to work and since we wouldn't be able to access the rooms until they dried. Had he tried to talk to me about it we probably could have up with a solution, but he refused to do anything at that point. I called Kathy back and she said she would try to figure out what was going on, but I never heard anything back. I would recommend finding someone else to clean your carpets.

I didn't take pictures though, because... laziness, mostly... Also, we're a "no shoes indoors" family, so I'm sure the cleaning would be even more noticeable for you indoor-shoe-wearers (with your terrible life choices). The lady (Elaina) who scheduled the appointment was friendly and responsive; I had left a voicemail during the weekend, and didn't expect a response until the following Monday, but she texted me the same day to answer my questions. Elaina said they would do a free consultation/estimate (which I ended up requesting). Initially, she had quoted a price range, based on the information I had provided, but after they measuring the house specs during the consultation, it ended up being a little cheaper than the quoted price. On the day of the cleaning, they finished the work within 70 minutes, despite saying that it would be closer to two hours. One of the dudes was named Tyler, who seemed like the veteran of the two. I missed the other guy's name but he seemed newer. But they were both friendly, and capable. I don't know if the prices are reasonable to be honest, because we've never done this before, but it seemed reasonable for the type of work involved. It was a little more than $300 to clean all the tile in our house.

We recently used KC Pest Control this summer for preventative house treatment. Specifically as…read moresummer was in full bloom and we wanted to be ahead of any little bugs that wanted to make there way in our home. Our first appointment was prompt and the man who came out to spray was professional and thorough. A couple weeks after our house spray- we noticed ants coming out in our master bathroom and had never seen so many of them in our home. My husband gave a call back and they came out to do a respray in the areas where the ants had emerged from. Unfortunately, the second spray did not do the trick. About month after our very first spray we noticed even more ants in our master bathroom and our laundry room. When i used to live in Florida, I used to use pest control services and I quite acustomed to have more bugs appear after treatment, but they were usually dead by that point or after a few weeks they would be non-existent. This has not been the case here. When we called back to inform KC Pest Control that we are still seeing the emergence of ants without any difference since the re-spray the woman on the phone informed us that they have a 30 day policy for any re-sprays and past that point we need to pay an additional fee. This was really frustating because we did have a re-spray within that first 30 day window and that re-spray only made things worse after a few weeks. We were not okay with paying again for a treatment that hasn't proven to work for us after paying $200 the first time just over a month ago. All in all, I was disappointed by the level of customer empathy and willingness to help. We since moved to another local company.

At first they are great to deal with. I had an excellent experience thru the sale, delivery process…read moreand first terms of the sale. I was told that I needed to make the first 5 payments and after that it could be paid off with no penalty. Ok, great. They said they prefer you set up autopay. I'm on the road a lot and autopay works great for me as well. I get notification from my credit union that they took out their payment. Ok perfect. Less than a week later they took out another one. I paused but chalked it up to an honest mistake. Less than a week later I get a message from the girl in their office saying if I don't make my payment that they're gonna send someone to pick up my container. Flustered, I called them. I explained the situation to the guy that had answered the phone. He said he would have someone call me back but sounded very Skeptical as if he didn't believe me. No worries, I waited for them to call me but instead I get a message from the driver assigned to pick up MY container. I call him back and explain the mistake. He also seemed skeptical but told me either way he'd be back for the container unless his employer told him otherwise. I called a number he gave me to call. A woman answered and said she had to have payment because my account was delinquent or they had to pick up my container. I asked her how many times per month I was required to make the almost $300 payment. She said if I had paid it she would t be calling me for payment. I pulled up exactly what dates they had taken payments from my account. At that time she immediately changed direction, apologized for the mistake and said I was good for 2 months. I asked for an exact payoff but she couldn't tell me. Said she'd call me back with it. Less than a week later we are back in the collection loop. Driver is coming to pick up my container, I'm delinquent and need to pay. I asked again for payoff amount. The lady called me back and said over $6000. I explained that was way more than I'd paid for the entire container. She said with fees and all it would be over 6k. I said I don't think so ma'am. I hung up and made a payment just to be sure. But the calls still persist and the threats of repossession. Made another payment and still the threats keep coming. The owner left me a voicemail and accused me of attempting to steal his container. He said I need to get my stuff out of it and out of the way so they can come pick it up. How many times do I have to pay for it? i Finally told him he was signing up for a rocky road and hard lessons if this was his business model. All of a sudden the threats stopped but the hyperbolic billing keeps coming regardless of how much I pay. I keep waiting for the goons to jump out of the bushes and attempt to assault me but they haven't as of yet. Stay tuned for the ending please. I'll let everyone know how it ends. Thanks.
