The town of Masham is a quick 20-minute walk with plenty of pubs and a couple of breweries, there are miles of walking/running trails, you can watch the herds of deer from your windows, and the rolling hills dotted with sheep and horses is oh so peaceful. We put Swinton Park on our "let's go back there someday" list - a very peaceful and relaxing get away.

Really though I couldn't fault anything about the experience, apart from the classic struggle to get the bill at the end - not that we were keen to leave such a cosy environment! The prices are very reasonable and the staff are attentive and polite. I really can't think of any negatives about this place and look forward to my next visit.
